Was referring to recent players that are younger and still playing. Commie was a beast! He and Greene are two of my all time fav sioux d men and not surprised both of them ended up with their name on the cup.

Matt Greene is pretty much the only big time NHL d man we've had come through lately and we all know he's not a 1st rounder. Not a great track record with the high end d men. Forwards are a completely different story in the NHL but great point in the d men! Who doesn't love the term puck bunny! Lol

Took a serious hit in the pairwise rankings last night. Hopefully a win tonight can help UND climb back up a few spots. The crap ass play last night hurt in a few spots. 1. Just sucks to suck like that 2. Missed golden chance with Mankato beating umtc 3. Pairwise Win tonight and at worst 2 points back on Scsu and 2 back of umtc. Loss tonight then.....well that's just not going to happen.

Absolutely brutal! Couldn't even tell the last time I watched a game knowing there was zero possibility of winning after 2 periods. Maybe never. Usually takes a 3/4 goal lead to start that thinking. Wholesale line changes are needed Panz in Gleason out or at forward but isn't needed Chyzk in unless he's in the dog house for something?? I think we all get it and makes sense but his skill set is very very high. If he's 3 inches taller he's a potential top 10 pick no questions asked. Regardless of that we all know what he can do. The 3rd line thing isn't the issue I believe, it's who he's been playing with which seems to be odd. Pattyn and Grimaldi are 2 completely different players with completely different roles but are skating on same line.

Yup, last second road trip with my grandpa from Scottsdale. We lose with that team 1-0 after dominating, think we went to our hotel for a hour then decided to drive back to az. Funny when I was back in az for Xmas my grandpa brought this up and said I had my hoodie pulled down over my eyes and didn't say a word until Albuquerque ha can't beat the ups and downs of your fav team! Rocco has no business on the 3rd line with pattyn. Pattyn is a hell of a player in his role on a 3rd or 4th line but little to no offensive skill. I'm glad I'm not alone on this one because its a head scratcher and I can't remember this from a Hak line up in previous years. Hope it clicks if they are indeed the same. Danny , Corban and Rocco all shine this weekend. Still thinking 12 plus points combined over the weekend in some entertaining WCHA games! Sioux sweep!

Def not pumping their tires but they are a lot better than they have been in years. Very solid players on that team. They will battle for one of the last ncaa tourney spots but I think they will just miss out baring a late final 5 run
