  1. Andy's comment shows the class and heart that the team has now found. We saw this on the ice in St. Paul last week, I believe we will see more of it this weekend. Talent goes only so far, heart will take you to the National Championship. Good luck Sioux!

  2. Will be on in the new Penalty Box bar both nights. Charge to go.

A internet feed of Maine's TV station will be available for Sat nights game. Check out their website at www.wabi.tv.

    Hope this helps.

  3. It will be interesting to see how this goes over with the "big boys".

If I am upset about the lack of respect for my small $1100 contribution, just think how the Director Club ($2750), Emerald Club ($5500) and Dimond Club ($11000) members are going to feel. Hopefully they are willing stand up with the "little guy" and fight the "man".

By the way, no media guide for Coaches Club, talk about nickle and dime. Hopefully it will be some time before they install pay toilets. At this rate, I don't think I have enough change left in my pockets to let REA know how I feel about the policy changes!

  4. :p Found this info on the FSC website. http://www.undalumni.org/Forms/Penalty%20box%20text_1.pdf

I guess that a donation of $1100 just is not enough to get any respect.

I will be finding someplace other than REA to spend my time and money prior to the games.

How many more benefits will be taken away before the fans say "enough"?

The "Penalty Box", how about naming it the "The Barn", that will be how it feels when club members are herded into the new bar with every other fan in the building!

  6. I agree that bashing the Gophs is poplular but it only gives them reason to think they are important. Really they are not, the only teams that matter are the SIOUX and whomever they are playing in the next game.

Let's not give Minnesota any reason to think they are something they are not!

  7. I for one think that the game times and pairings could not have worked out much better for the Sioux.

The fans whom are not able to attend the games are being hurt by the TV coverage but really this is about the Sioux hockey team and their chances to win the Final Five.

Playing a much lower ranked team on a half days rest, then (hopefully) playing the Dogs or Gophs in the championship game after they beat each other up the night before while our players rest - - - - - could it play out any better?

We the fans are important to the UND hockey team, however, we are just that, fans. Lets look at what is best for the team and their chances.

    GO SIOUX!

  8. I always watch at least part, if not the entire movie Slap Shot. Not only does it seem to bring the Sioux good luck it gets me in the "correct" frame of mind for the game!

The games which the Sioux lost this year were games that I did not have a chance to "put on the foil".

  9. I had e-mailed WDAZ early in the year as to what game would be covered by them.

The response was "WDAZ is scheduled to air the two games in Duluth in late February, although there is a slight chance the Friday game may NOT be televised."

  10. Couldn't you go to Gemini and see if they could make you one or if they have any laying around? I guess they don't make the jersey anymore, but you might be able to get one from them. If you do that, pick me one up too. :silly:

A month or two ago I contacted Chris Peterson at Gemini Athletics to see if they had any of the older style jersey available. He checked and they did not.

I asked if they could still make them, he said they could but would need to have an order of a dozen or so.

  11. Disappointing that so few individuals bought so many. $5,725 for seventeen jerseys! Must have purchased as investment rather than an average fan looking to own a piece of Sioux hockey history.

Hopefully we will get another chance down the road and that these guys will be stuck with their purchases in ending inventory!

If they show up on e-bay, I'll be ***** if I will place a bid!
