Exciting that we can talk about different ways the playoff picture can turn out for us. Getting a top 8 seed would be HUGE, but regardless, it's fun talking about playoffs in general for this team
Bubba is really turning this program around and it's pretty amazing if you sit back and think about where we were 4 years ago and now we are undefeated in one of the best conferences in the FCS

I think a 4:00 pm game would be very ideal, if no hockey
The tailgate scene would be great and you get to enjoy the warmest part of the day-plus get sh*t done before game
Nothin' better than throwing the football around and puttin a few beers back on a Saturday afternoon!

I liked the style of Norv's play calling, he wasn't afraid to try new things, but it didn't fit right with the Vikings players
I still think this offense has more potential that it's been showing, maybe a different OC will be a good thing

Heidelbaugh is 6'4" and all of 220. Bubba recruited him...although I do see where you are coming from cause bolinske is small

For students, the difference between a game experience at the Alerus Center VS a game at the ralph is vast. Speaking from personal experience, the football games are just no fun for average student football fans. They are mid-afternoon, they are awkwardly quiet between plays, no excitement. I personally respect the football team and am always standing, cheering, and engaged, but I am speaking for the majority of students.
The Alerus center does not do a good enough job of engaging the crowd via music, participation.(That is what will bring students back!!) They are getting better from a few year ago, but it will take time for it to build. They are far behind the folks at the Ralph in entertainment.
Just my perspective over the years being a student.

Run defense is definitely key, forces opponents to pass and Reyes is doing a very good job of reading the QB and sneaking interceptions in there. That being said, some of the pass coverage is iffy, but improved from last year- that is what matters. Improvement.

Gotta give Heidlebaugh a break, he was thrown out there on a 3rd&1 and a 4th&1 at a crucial time in the game- still managed to get the TD, ugly or not
If we are looking at the future of this team, i say get the kid some snaps
Heide hasn't had nearly enough game time to adjust and get in a rhythm
