UND vs Drake a few years ago . . . was supposed to be a cake walk.
Drake came out to play, slapped UND in the face a few times and tried to make a game of it.
UND won, but we all shook our heads a bit and wondered what the hell just happened.

On the UNDSPORTS page, the ND are black, so the neck stripe is changed out to green . . . at least you can see it.
Leaving it black and letting it just blend into the black ND is a bad call. (graphic designer by trade)

So the linebacker situation is shifting a bit again it seems? Haas is solid . . . Noah is making himself known.
Any idea Where Disterhaupt will land when game one comes around? Haven't head much about Jade, either.
Those two were solid at OLB last year and I was hoping to see those two pair up for some "Sack City" fun this season.

Agreed. Some of the most accomplished NFL qb's weren't know as much for their arm strength or speed as they were for game management and . . . just getting the wins.

News about Grady does not sound good. Strange to have Disterhaupt listed at 2 spots in the 2-deep.
Disterhaupt is a workhorse. I'd bet he rotates back and forth a bit from inside to outside within a game.

Santiago returning kicks . . . has to happen. He's more dangerous there than he in as a running back, in my opinion. Get him in space
with some room to scope out the field and that's where he shines. Luckily, UND has a good stable of running backs so it's not such a risk.

It'll be the first game, so I'm hoping they won't be clicking on all cylinders yet. I also expect UND to dial up pressure up front and get to the QB; can't let him have time to find his targets. Safety becomes extremely important now, because if I remember right it was blown safety coverage one 1, if not 2, TDs last year at bowling green that cost us the game.
I'd like to think we will keep the run game in check, but the missing on a deep pass always makes me nervous. Can we just move the game from Aug 31 to July 31?

So...this thread can kick in again.
Does the Harris injury change anything? I think the depth back there should keep them afloat.

#22 and #5 will both graduate in the same year. By the time Gordon gets to his senior year . . . eyes will be on UND RB's.
He'll be in a good spot. And let's be honest, the "next man up" scenarios arise quite often.
