I can't help but think that the Teddy tie-in symbolizes what the University of North Dakota does for many of our students and student-athletes. Just as Teddy wasn't born here and didn't' stay long, his time here made him the person he was. Even though Toews, Parise, Oshie, etc. weren't from here and didn't settle in Grand Forks, they put their stamp on UND and UND put its stamp on them. They will always be part of the UND and Grand Forks community because of the time they spent here and the significance they had on each other. My 2 cents. Go Roughriders!
