The problem is we had a wholly unique, regionally relevant name that was also epic and BA sounding. I dont want a non unique name. naming us after a common animal or commonly used set/group/class of people would suck. Not having a regionally relevant name would make it less marketable and lessen the pride in the name. Lastly having something that isnt epic/BA/etc will be lame and a major let down. Many of the suggestions in the poll are fairly decent. I like fighting norsemen . . . or maybe bandits instead of outlaws since we are by the border. But none really hit on all the above AND it would be nice to somehow pay homage to our tradition. I personally would love to change our name to the North Dakota Spirit Lake. Though not fitting all my own criteria, I also like Direwolves, Immortals, snowbeasts/snowdemons (meh), green reapers, winter or northmen (meh) . . .

It'll be a home game but that's cause it'll be 70 fans for the first game, 200 from Wisconsin and 500 from UND (me included but I just have an hour and half to go). Had Miami made it, there would have been maybe another 8-900

Looking for two or three tickets to either or both Miami games. Driving from Ohio to bring my six year old daughter to the hockey Mecca . . . UND-OSU Women's games at the Ohio ice rink aren't quite cutting it.

I'm there! My trip is only two and a half hours since I moved so I am definitely there.

I got Friday only tickets, couldn't get seats for Saturday when my family could go. If you got three assigned seats for Saturday I would love them.

Miami is tough, small arena with about half the tickets going to the students. About half goes to the season ticket holders, also. Now, the STH don't show up to every game but with their tix sold, we are left with general admission tickets from a company called Vivid through their website. You can buy them second hand too but there aren't many. Cool thing is they will let you take am empty seat in the second to third period. Also, there is a decent lookout point to the sides of one of the goals. Gotta pregame and oxford is a cool little town, no booze in the arena. I hope we represent well, I ordered tickets the minute they went live. SIOUX YEAH YEAH Side note, I cant walk into Steve Cady with my Sioux sweater on without having a dozen people talk to me. That might change now . : .
