More UND scholarships might result from GF gaming site partnership with Fargo's Plains Art - GF Herald

The director of the Fighting Sioux Club hopes the group's connection to a new gaming site in Grand Forks will mean at least two scholarships a year for University of North Dakota athletes.

Morton said it will likely be at least a year before UND sees revenue from the Playmaker's Gaming Lounge, which opened Wednesday as a charitable gaming site for Plains Art Museum, a Fargo-based nonprofit.

The lounge is in the Canad Inns Destination Center in Grand Forks.
