Drew Stafford's hat trick on Saturday was a shortie, an even-strength and a power play goal. Has a Sioux player done that before in a game? I don't even know where to begin to look that up. Has there been any talk of this or a mention in the newspaper?

...but I did find that Ben Cherski had 7 hat tricks in his junior season and 17 in his UND career, in the '50s. (!)

It was a remarkable weekend. 2 Sioux hatties (one unusual in Stafford's).

In minor news, SCSU's Konrad Reeder had a natural hatty. I don't like SCSU but natural hatties are a rare thing.
