My folks have the Outdoor Sports Network, I think, but isn't that the channel that DISH Network pulled because of some contract dispute with the NHL or that channel? JESUS,family, rutgers
Redwing, If you can keep track of who has what channels, you are a genius! Every week, this stuff seems to change. Last year, our local cable company said they would start carrying College Sports TV but it turns out you have to buy a whole higher tier plus get an attachment if you don't have a digital TV. I am not crazy about going to sports bars, but I have caught a few Fighting Sioux games there but even the people who work there sometimes don't know what they carry. Somewhere down the line, I assume everyone will be able to get all TV stations but that is probably a while from now.
iceberg
My folks have the Outdoor Sports Network, I think, but isn't that the channel that DISH Network pulled because of some contract dispute with the NHL or that channel? yes. Dish pulled it because OLN changed the rules mid contract. When OLN got the NHL< they said to all carriers "carry it on the basic tier or you don't get NHL on it" so most people got Alternate programming and unless you go to a bar or have NHL Centre Ice, you won't get any of them except for MN game Edited November 29, 2005 by iceberg
