Just curious if anyone knows about a new theater being built in GF. When will it be open? Where is it?

As far as I know there is a ten or twelve plex (I believe) that is going to be built in town with stadium seating. They are also goiong to change the current ten plex to stadium seating.

I haven't heard anything about a new movie theater being built in town. Is there any news articles posted as to when this was first brought up?

I just remember hearing about it months ago and was reminded of it when i attended a movie at the 4 plex in town. We need a big new place. I had heard it was being built at the Canad Inn site or at the old Target.

I have a better idea. How about instead of building 30 new theatres, they resurrect the one that really matters.

Sounds good to me.

I am glad to see a new theater coming to Grand Forks. At the very least, it will be nice to see Carmike 10 do some much needed improvements to their existing screens.

Yeah, stadium seating so much nicer! I just wonder why all the talk of so many new screens?
