moser53 Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Robert Lewis Former Director of the English Department passed away last Monday at age 82. If you had him as a Professor you know what a treasure he was to UND. He had alot of hobbies and he was proably best known for being a cofounder and 2 time President of the Ernest Hemmingway Society. I met Bob playing noon basketball at Hyslop. When we weren't playing and standing on the sidelines he was a very interesting man to listen to. I'm glad I got to know him a bit.
