Tony's is the bar. Forgot that minor detail but the real ones already know this. ROLL TRIBE

With the new arena located just north of downtown, there are plenty of options up and down Tejon Street for drinks and food before and after the games. Downtown CS over the past few years has seen a boom in trendy Denver-lite type establishments. That said, I plan to be at Tony's for pregame both nights. Located blocks from the arena, it's the perfect UND fan bar as it is a Green Bay Packer themed bar that serves cheese curds and fried walleye and is one of a very select few bars in town that won't look at you cross-eyed when you ask for Clamato in your beer. Hope to see some friendly faces at Tony's!

I have an extra pair of tickets Section 113 Row A (end UND shoot twice). These are for Saturday October 28. Face value is $23/ticket.

Tony's downtown would be a fun informal gathering place Saturday afternoon. Plus, it's a Green Bay Packers bar that feels straight out of the upper midwest so the travelers from ND can get their Miller Lites without being looked down upon.

Mini pitchers, cheese curds, fried walleye and all.
It's about a 10-12 minute drive to the Arena.

Anyone know of a UND fan get together in Colorado Springs for this weekend?
There is a BWW within walking distance of the arena so that's where the people I'm going with planned on going.
I would really like to get a more formal fan gathering for this series. BWW is so convenient because it is within walking distance of the arena. The problem is that is always so packed and loud in there. Most other good options for gatherings won't be nearly as convenient. Maybe I will work to set up a shuttle and some drink specials if we can get enough interest in future years.
As for this weekend, maybe with Saturday night's game being so early (6pm) we can fill up the bar with Sioux fans. If you see me, come say hi. First beer is on me. I will be the short guy wearing the Sioux jersey.
Really looking forward to the weekend, you guys.

Wow. Silly me. I posted the wrong phone number... Sincerely apologize to any of you who may have sent texts or called the wrong guy.

I have an extra pair (possibly four) for Friday and an extra set of four for Saturday this upcoming weekend at Broadmoor World Arena vs CC. Lower bowl, great seats. Would love to fill them with Sioux fans.

This. Same as yesterday. 28 is a total wildcard right now.
And 4 just needs to make the smart, solid play.

Time to exercise the 2011 Demons. I'm on my third change of undies...
LJ's line is gonna be a difference maker, defensively mostly. Cam will be fine.
If CBS show up (to include Deuce), it'll be GAME OVER early. If not, all bets are off. Let's hope Keaton and Shaw can look a bit more steady than yesterday.
Pogo, Chyz, Pauly. If we can can one of these vets to put one in the net, we will be in good shape.
The 3 Little Hobeys on the CCM line will be left wondering what hit them. They are not ready for this Day of Reckoning.
Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can't Lose. Go Hawks Go.

Very excited for the second half of the season. This series should be a ton of fun. I am beginning to embrace this series and am looking forward to it continuing to become more and more of a true rivalry. Its an accessible road trip from both ND and CO and would be a fun annual meetup spot for UND fans (if we could ever get tickets to Baxter).
As for this weekend, we can only hope the CBS line can jump right back on it with little to no signs of rust. Same with goaltending, let's hope the guys can keep it up in net.
Really looking forward to the weekend, you guys.
Go Sioux and Go Fighting Hawks. Cheers!

Way to come out and win the 3rd period. Let's hope that becomes a common occurrence during the Berry Regime.
Nice win. GO SIOUX

Planning on heading to the Doubletree for some pregame drinks both nights.
Doubletree was a total dud last night. I thought I had to be in the wrong place.
BWW was jam-packed so I guess I will try there tonight.
-
2 great tix behind UND bench for saturday night.
Section 117.
-
I can confirm. i believe it's the doubletree? usually where the team stays, a few blocks down from WA. There's also a BWW practically in the parking lot that should be packed.
Thanks Siouxper. I will be there. I'll be the guy in the Sioux jersey.

Is there any get together place for Pregame in Colorado Springs?
I heard from a local last year that there is a hotel near the arena that contains a bar where Sioux fans gather before the games. Can anybody confirm?

Where do SIOUX fans get together before taking over World Arena? I will be there.
Really looking forward to the weekend, you guys.

This town is buzzing with excitement and dare I say CONFIDENCE with the Tigers ranked in the top 20 for the first time in nine years. I am happy for CC as they have been like a kid brother to me and also share a mutual hate of the team 70 miles north of here. CC always gives us fits with their style of play. The games always seem tighter than they should be. They have elite goaltending, solid veterans, and a kid waring #25 that has some serious skill. That said, our guys will be looking for revenge from the series at The Ralph. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Tony's both pre and post game. I'll be wearing my fresh white NODAK STRINDEN sweater so please say hi. Oh and bring your brooms.
