    Prospects that have visited

    Charley Dahlquist Eden Prairie (15-16)

    Isabelle Brosseau Eden Prairie (15-16)

Presley Norby Minnetonka (16-17) has visited multiple times

Have to think were looking at some international players too

Emma Nuutinen Finland (17) multiple 18 year olds on this team as well.

    Alina Müller Switzerland (15)

    Anna Shokhina Russia (16)

    Yelena Dergachyova Russia (19)

  2. Christian Evers gets a plus 1 in the loss to Dubuque.

Ryan Mantha stays even in the win vs Chicago.

Cam Johnson saves 35 of 37 saves in the loss to Muskegon. Hayden Shaw gets 6 shots on goal. Jack Rowe gets 1 shot in the win.

John Simonson gets another goal but goes -1 with 3 shots and 2 PIMs.

Tucker Poolman in an uncharacteristic game for him stays pointless and -2 with 3 shots.

Nick Schmaltz gets 2 assists in the win but stays even.

Chris Wilkie stays even with 3 shots and Austin Poganski gets a goal and assist with an even rating.

It looks like Poganski is really finding his niche with Tri-city now.

Dayns takes a penalty for Flin Flon.

  3. Cam Johnson comes in for relive of midseason first team goal Cal Peterson and makes 10 of 10 saves.

Hayden Shaw -1 in the game. For Indiana Ryan Mantha gets a goal on 6 shots.

Jack Rowe is even with one shot.

Nick Schmaltz in a -1 with 3 shots.

  4. Over the boards on a couple of people mentioned here.

    Link: http://overtheboards.net/select-70-top-uncommitted-prospects-february-2014/

    41. 97 F Tanner Tweten - East Grand Forks High School – 6’2 – 198

Big, coordinated hybrid power forward with some skill and craftiness to boot. Doesn’t force plays and can cause fits on the forecheck. Works hard at both ends of the ice. USHL rights owned by Des Moines.

    33. 96 F John Peterson - Holy Family Catholic – 5’10 – 159

Confident skater accelerates to top speed very quickly and has a ton of skill on the puck. Makes plays at high speed and really thrives on the transition. USHL free agent, WHL rights owned by Everett.

    15. 97 F Robby Jackson - Chicago Steel – 5’9 – 174

California-native’s hockey sense and offensive ability has seen him emerge as the USHL’s leading under-17 goalscorer, with 18 goals. WHL rights are owned by Tri-City.

    20. 98 F Kieffer Bellows - Edina High School – 5’11 – 195

Bull of a forward with game-shattering scoring ability and a pro build, Bellows is built to dominate and does just that, as he’s tough to contain and has skill to spare at the high school level. WHL rights are owned by Portland.

    21. 98 F Mitchell Mattson – Grand Rapids High School – 6’2 – 165

Like Tufte, Mattson has come into his own this season. The tall, lanky forward finished the season with 17 points in his last 10 games and if he continues to develop at this clip, will be a serious offensive threat at the next level. WHL rights are owned by Portland.

    50. 97 D Tye Ausmus - East Grand Forks High School – 5’7.25 – 150

Where Ahcan unveiled an offensive side, Ausmus’ production went down this season, but he’s still effective defensively and uses his speed to negate opportunities. USHL rights owned by Lincoln.

  5. Great parents and extremely athletic family. The kid lives for hockey.

Will probably need a few years if better competition to make it here. Someone to look forward to is a shattuck player and soon to be force player Anthony Petrella. Also we might need to start looking to the colorado thunderbirds. Lots of players, especially at cc and du played there (I think Slavin and olsson), Callan Foote is the next stud dman to play there son of former nhler.

Lots of people are asking about international players to and Ivan Provorov from Cedar Rapids is pretty impressive. Probably going hockey east or big 10 though former teammate is committeed to penn state.

Trent Frederic (St. Louis Blues AAA U16) and Logan Brown (Indiana Jr. Ice U16) are to really big forwards 6-2 and 6-4 respectively. Trent is small though only at 180.

There are two NTDP guys, U17's Luke Kirwan (forward) and Zach Werenski (defense) but I'm always nervous when they are owned by OHL teams. Both have great upside though.

  6. What I am describing is

1 seed MN playing team X

2 seed UW playing 3 seed UND

    No intraconference issues here

There is a potential issue which is what the selection committee cares about. They still don't want it in the second round as best they can.

  7. Shane Gersich has one shot Ryan Mantha has the same line.

Jack Rowe has 1 assist and a -1 rating with 2 shots.

Cam Johnson comes in from relive and makes 9 of 10 saves. Hayden Shaw goes -1.

Tucker Poolman is one of the main reasons why Cam gets in with 1 goal and an assist with a +1 rating.

John Simonson gets an even rating and 3 shots. Austin Poganski takes a checking from behind penalty and misconduct. Chris Wilkie gets a goal and an assist with a -1 rating on 8 shots.

Nick Schmaltz gets a goal on 5 shots.

Rhett Gardner stays even in the win.

    Dayns stays even.

  8. Austin Poganski gets 2 goals and an assist with a +3. Chris Wilkie gets and even rating while taking a tripping penatly. Tri-City won 4 to 2.

John Simonson get a goal but -3 rating in the lose.

Jack Rowe hitting alittle stride with Muskegon??? gets a goal tonight in the loss. 4 games and 3 points for Rowe there.

Christian Cakebread must still be hurt as Fargo losses 7 to 0.

Cam Johnson gets the 18 save shutout and Hayden Shaw gets a goal with a +1 rating.

Nick Schmaltz gets an assist in a 7 to 3 loss. -3 rating for him.

Tucker stays even with two shots on goal.

Through one period Charlie Pelnik is even in what looks to be the making of a barn burner. 3-2 Langley lead through one.

Rhett Gardner has a goal and 2 assists in the third period for the oilers. Also has 10 penatly minutes.

  9. Gage Hough was an all west team member second teamer in the USHL midseason report. Also someone else of interest may be Alec Vanko he is on the older side and I don't know to much about him but might be someone of interest for some schools.

    http://www.ushl.com/news.php?action=detail&news_id=2328

    Gage Hough (F), Omaha Lancers

The 20-year-old native of Omaha, Nebraska is part of the highest scoring line in the USHL and is currently tied for fourth in League scoring with 46 points (20g, 26a) in 43 games. Nine of his goals have come on the power play and he has netted four game-winners. His plus-29 rating is also ranked fourth overall in the USHL. He is currently uncommitted to a college hockey program.

  10. I honestly have no idea what type of player he will be when he gets here. Haven't seen him play since he was at Central. Anyone seen him recently?

I haven't seen him sense Central as well but I can guarantee that he will still have a lot of grit in his play. But it does look like he has some offensive capabilities, at least as of late. I don't think he will come in and contribute goals early in his career but is going to be a nice addition to the checking line in his first year. I think it was about two weeks ago that he had at least two fighting majors as well.
