This guy is a Brandon MB native who's played in the Brandon or Winkler system since 2014. Seems to like to stay close to home. But what is Acadia U that UND "stole" him from per Elite Prospects?
https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/416924/dalton-andrewMy guess: he's a project forward; likely the F14/15 this fall and see if he can develop. Guessing he has a hole in his game* that needs fixing at the NCAA level. And you can't teach 6'5" so there's that.
*That's not an insult; when Mike Commodore got here he needed double-runner skates. But that got fixed.Acadia University is a public, predominantly undergraduate university located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Summit League could take over NCHC to survive?

Agreed on the portal as well. I think if they find 1-2 options that would be a good fit that they could pick them up and then have a couple of the recruits spend another year in juniors. Goalie to replace Persson if he leaves. Not many holes to fill, especially not when compared to last year.
I feel the planned players coming up may bolt on the Sioux if we ask them to stay another year in juniors. We need to keep quality recruits and develop them.

Could someone go down to the locker room and tell the Sioux to come out and play.

There is a pretty big drop in points after Blake, but we have a good mix of guys in that 8-11 goal range.
Funny enough, we have 3 guys with 18+ goals on the roster...which is the exact same number as Michigan.Go Sioux

Jackson Blake getting knocked off the puck pretty easily.
They know he is the one to stop. He is going to get targeted.

Another option would be campus regionals!
I am a very big supporter of campus regionals. However, not on campuses with irregular ice sheets (Olympic size for example) or rinks that seat less than 6,000.
-
Lets promote NCAA Hockey and have a future regional like the western regional in Vegas and the Midwestern Regional in Fargo. Available seating would increase and the regional tickets would improve.

Matteo Costantini has brought his game to the Bronco - Spartans game. He is also getting a lot of love from the announcers. Miss having him on the team.

Is their a UND roster sheet yet?
is their one for Michigan.

A days rest vs having to play the very next day like they use to? I’d say so.
Denver is benefitting this year from the UND rule. If Bulldogs did not get a bye the previous night would the game even have gone to 4 overtimes.

Man DU is in trouble
The goalie, did he fake an injury to buy Denver rest during the penalty kill? Goalie has been pretty active in net since he decided he could play.

Watching the Denver-st Cloud and it seems that Denver does not want to play in west regional tournament either. Denver seems to want to stay behind UND in pairwise to avoid the western regional. I will have to see what period 3 of the game will tell us about Denver.
-
Oops Hobie almost had that last goal. Oooh well 6-3.
-
I really do not want UND Sioux at the Sioux Falls Regional tournament. The NCAA loves filling the western tournament with at least two NCHC powerhouses. They always have an excuse, but it clears the way to help other conferences to have a chance to win a national title. There should be a hard and firm rule that if four or fewer teams from one conference make the national they must be seeded in different regional tournaments. If more than four teams make the national tournament than seed in regionals that do not really meet in the final four until the final night.

C’mon Alex and Starman give a little love also to UND.

Good observation.

Alright time for analysis: What is UND failing to do, on a once potent power-play? What is different? Share your ideas.
