Can anyone tell me what the oc and the DC make along with Bubba.
And is the ss.com fundraising really a necessity to get some of these items.

So I read the football revenue gives 50plus percent to the REA so what does the hockey team return to the athletic dept. If u need football money also?

Being a bison fan down here was not always Rose's we sucked for a while but it took the right coach and an administration behind him then hit on a few recruits and maybe transfers then it will happen.
What I see from the outside is an administration not being able to see what needs to be done dont know the finances of und but maybe steal a few hockey bucks and go grab a coach or 2

that's where I have my problem with robbins story seeing as the players are randomly tested by the ncaa I just find it hard to believe if its rampant there is only one and it would be nice to see ndsu come out and say more maybe to try and put this to bed but I am sure they have a bunch of lawyers saying shut your mouth

if it is so rampant in the locker room at ndsu why over the last 7-8 yrs and 100"s of players tested only 1 that has been found to of had an illegal substance.

One thing I have been told is that what was taken is legal to a point but some how he got twice as much as is legal by NCAA standards

Congrats on post #9 - so you are new here? Can I ask what motivated you to take the time to create an account to post on a UND fan site?
Just to be clear it appears that what you are saying is that the reasons that these student athletes are choosing UND over SU is because UND is offering scholarships while SU is only offering them PWOs and UND is offering playing time right away and SU isn't? Hmmm. What's your thoughts on the possibility that these guys might just like UND better, the coaching staff, the school, the education or that perhaps they understand that UND has dominated SU before and they can be a part of a team that will do it again?
As to your first question just like to see whats going on up north and some friendly banter back and forth have a lot of und fans that I am friends with so I hope that answers your question
as for your second point I am not saying that that is the only reason is money I also said fit for the program I also do understand there are plenty of more reason I just stated a few I am not tryin to start anything here just try to add a few points or facts from the ndsu side of things

I really like this class. Bubba is doing what he said he would. Heart and soul from the Midwest sprinkle in the rest. I also like the 3 toba kids. If UND can get the top 2-3 Winnipeg kids each year that would be awesome. It's a huge untapped football market that is getting better, and UND has a strong history there.
I do have a question for both UND and NDSU fans. As someone who follows local HS football it appears to me Bubba has the better crop of local kids (ND/Northern MN) than NDSU. I realize NDSU has a much better class on paper and from the Twin Cities but I'm just talking ND/Northern MN. In my opinion the HS football in this area is getting better and better and this year had a lot of talent. Curious from those in the know why they think that is?
- NDSU going more national?
- UND offering more money
- Bubba/Schmidt/Rudolph all being from and putting more focus on ND
- Kliman/Hedberg not as good in ND as Bohl/Vigen
Just curious because i watch enough football to know Lawrence, Heidelbaugh, Grady (was an NDSU offer), Blackwell, Hartness twins would probably all be NDSU scholarship offers most years. Ellefson is far and away the top local kid after Johanasson but I think I would take Jade Lawrence over both Robbins and Brooks. I also really like Blackwell and Tristan Hartness at WR. In his highlight video there is a clip or two of Hartness outrunning Ty brooks, impressive. Blackwell didn't have a QB otherwise his stats would've been better, Hartness had his bro.
Curious what some thoughts are? Whatever the reason NDSU's loss could be UNDs gain with the local talent.
I think it comes down to fit for the team and Bubba actually going after local kids nice to see even as a bison fan. also UND might be able to offer more playing time right away as for NDSU going more national I don't see that the recruits we have gotten this yr have been from the same areas as before. I have seen some posts and talked to a few people that some of the kids mentioned in your post were pwo targets for ndsu so its not like they didn't like just not enough to give them money right away. should be fun around here with bubba back.
one question back do you think he is going to keep going after transfers as much down the line or is this just a way to jump start the program?

I have to first off say I am a bison fan call me a troll if you want but I enjoy good discussion about this and other topics on both boards.
I don't understand why these 2 cant get together I can see both sides of the story but fellas lets just get this game done
there are open dates and for anyone on either side to say we have moved on or don't need them who cares about that
its god dam NDSU VS. UND one of if not the best rivalrys there was and could still be again.
I think there has been enough blame to go around on both sides from the beginning when the game was dropped now
its time to sit down and figure it out.

I'm going to revisit this ridiculous topic again only in minor detail. In my opinion, the game not being played annually is nothing more than complete childish behavior on the part of Gene Taylor. There also is a sense of entitlement and arrogance in Fargo that prevents it from getting done. If/when NDSU sinks back down to mediocrity over the next few years, the game will hopefully look more appealing to Ag School AD employees.
Otherwise, the focus will need to be on us (UND). NDSU-topics are the only school-related topics that spark debate with the UND-faithful other than UND-centered topics themselves (realistically, other "rival schools", such as Montana and Montana State, haven't got there yet). If that in itself doesn't persuade individuals that the rivalry is a sleeping giant, than I don't know what will.
As far as Kolpack goes, he's nothing more than an NDSU die-hard in the Fargo media. There's absolutely zero neutrality with him. Nearly ANY student currently at NDSU from North Dakota would know about the [former] UND-NDSU rivalry and the Nickel Trophy. As a North Dakota resident, I know the rivalry talk still goes on strong within the state, and I presume most 18-22 year old North Dakota kids are also well informed of the rivalry.
I am wondering how this is gene taylors fault this blame is shared by both schools in my opinion and as far as the sleeping giant I agree I can remember the state shut down for a few hours lets get it rolling again as a bison fan I would love to see the dome or the alerus packed to the gils with the fever that was going on when they played yrs ago

OK i will say right away i am a bison fan and i have to agree williams got beat [1st time in 2 yrs] and jensen has been a big disappointment all year and yes the play calling has been iffy and yes ga southern played better. but when its all said and done
we are going to frisco and they are not.
also lose by 30 you probable said the same thing before this game.
