any word on what goalies we r after
-
He decommitted yesterday.
oh really didn't see that one my bad well then I guess we should have a shot at him. Wonder who will be the next decommit
-
Funny what geography can do to your dreams. I have had nightmares where I was forced to wear the piss and brown.
Dream but doesn't mean it happens to every kid but I would love to get some more blue chippers from Gophers
-
I'd love for us to land Ausmus too and as some have said now that he has been away for a couple years maybe the whole getting out of GF thing won't matter to him anymore.
he needs to decommit before we worry about him coming here. I wouldn't mind a few of their recruits if they choose to decommit

Pelnik is a interesting recruit. Big kid. Didn't realize he had broken foot I think and then separated both shoulders after that seperate injuries. Wow.
Has anyone here watched him play recently? Is he is 14'?

Would love to see a few of those recruits choose to come to UND if they do the hated decomit

Any Buffalo Wild Wings in the FM area should have a good crowd plus Brookings wings should be descent I am sure no actual party planned but usually a good Sioux crowd at Wings plus Bulldogs Tab in South Fargo should be rocking
-
Good to hear Noel is even giving us the opportunity on him visiting. hope he can make it and we WOW him
-
thanks for the info lots of good kids still out there

Does anyone know what the attendance was like?

Because we all know that Grafton hockey folks can't count!!

any who and new guys on the radar

I'm still amazed at the kicking call. I thought it was bogus. Shane puts up with a lot - he's a tough kid. If he goes to the USHL, great, he will be playing against some great players. If he stays at HF, great - I can watch his games more often. That said, I could see him going to Omaha after the high school season is done and getting in some games. I think that would be a good gauge to see where he's at as far as USHL readiness.
Even the announcer where wondering where the kicking to place and were baffled why he got called for it. I think he can only play a few USHL games then you can't go back to High School I could be wrong
-
He got a major for kicking a guy against Wayzata. I think it's either a high school policy to get a game for major penalties or else it's Holy Family's.
I've heard he wants to head to the USHL after this year. He's tired of getting targeted by other teams with cheap shots/head shots. Some teams head hunt him pretty good. But, it also sounds like people are trying to get to his dad to get him to stick around for all of high school. But I'd be surprised if that happens. I'll keep my ears open. The Gersich's live a few minutes away from me. People talk.
I watched that game and it wasn't much of kick by that point of the game he was really frustrated you could from all the shots they were taking at him. Moving to USHL wouldn't be a bad thing like Besse should havee

Nope....and I'm guessing next season they won't pick up midco's feed so we can see the games.. They didn't this season because I have to pay them and extra 10.00 per month to get FCS channels... Anything to pi$$ a customer off, they make sure to do it!!

Where did Smiley goUND lost out on a defenceman that I thought was worth a look, Maddison Smiley of the Brooks Bandits. He is (16-19-35) in 33 games he was injured for about 2 months.
Brooks Bandits have two forwards that could be getting looks. Dakota Mason a 20 year old is (23-38-61) in 51 games third leading scorer on the Bandits. The other forward in Madison Dunn 17 year old is (12-6-18) in 31 games.
I'm still hoping Tanner MacMaster will commit to UND he's the leading scorer on Camrose Kodiaks (24-21-45) and his teammate Brett Njaa (18 years old) is second in scoring on the Kodiaks (19-23-42)

who's raiding the the Buffalo Wild Wings
-
Wade murphy has a 7 point night so far (2 goals, 5 assists) and the game is only in the 2nd period. It is good to see him pick up the pace again. He had been absent from the scoresheet for most of the last month.
was he hurt

Any rumors on goalies for next season since we will need one? Looking at the USHL it doesn't look like there are a whole lot of uncommitted goalies that stand out. The top 3 look to be Arthur Brey of Dubuque with a 2.11 GAA and 90.7 save %, Connor Girard of Dubuque with a 2.11 GAA and 91.0 save % and Kevin Lindskoug of Muskegon with a 2.42 GAA and 92.7 save %. The only one I have seen play is Girard but that was when he was in high school at Edina and he didn't really impress me there.
Very good question I would assume we be looking for one
-
Yup. He was very impressive for an 8th grader. Lightning quick and great hands. As matures I'm sure he'll be a force and move on to juniors. The first time he got the puck I had to look at the roster because he stood out so much as he blew past three guys for a scoring chance.
That's what I hear but haven't seen him play He's there leading scorer and that goalie has like 700 saves and 11 games 40 plus
-
Game just finished central won in ot. Devils lakes goalie had 62. It's his second 60+ save game this year.
wow that's impressive they also have Keaton Thompson younger brother who is playing as 8th grader
-
Very good player, 2nd round WHL pick. Ill wait on this one until he steps on campus. Matteau , Miller and Lemieux can do that to a fan these days
I totally agree with u I 2 will wait on this one
-
wayzata was raping him all night and taking shots at him. Target on his back
-
Gersich will be on FSN Thursday night at 7 when his team plays at Wayzata if anyone wants to get a look at him.
