Signal is not the best tonight, if you got it last time then thats all it is. Not enough signal reaching the dish/LNB You can try getting someone to watch the signal quality while you dgently pull left and right on the dish to see if that helps, if not leave the dish where it is. Now spluttering between 63 and 67% Q here : (

Now getting a slight flutter in the signal quality from 67 to 71 %

WOW was just about to complain about the signal and it JUMPED from 55 to 72% : )

He has never been the same guy since he got that puck to the head!

Staying cold here again tonight with a whopping 76% Quality, these are Old School signals : ) The way they used to be!

About time we all had some decent signals : ) You can't beat clear COLD nights for signal quality, the colder it is the better an LNB functions. Some guys put their LNB's in the fridge before use!!

Depends where you are, but a basic one TV install is $100 here in the Twin Cities area.

Hi, You need at least a 30" satellite dish for FTA, I would now say you need a 90cm dish for Sioux games. You also need a Linear LNB and DVB Satellite receiver, and of course the RG6 Coax cable to hook it up, This should cost you around $190 But buying a FTA Satellite System without a motor is a bit like buying a car without wheels : ) A motor will set you back around $70 more. Setup is a wee bit tougher than say a DirecTV install, but MANY here have done it. We can help every step of the way on the SatellitePlus.US forum On one Satellite alone there are around 200 channels from around the world. No Sunday footbal games but lots and lots of sports feeds, mainly college. The History channel is even FTA right now (101w) Lots of LIVE news feeds and events. You just never know what you will scan in. Its well woth the price for just the Sioux home games to me, the rest is the icing on the FTA cake : ) Keep the questions coming here or on my forum!

If you have a motor, firstly go to antenna setup, then come down to positioner, USALS, highlight USALS and enter the menu, select the Sioux transponder on the drop down list, Then go to movement, nudge east or west to see if anything can be gained by nudging. As I nudged tonight and the signal was right where it should be. If you do get better signal.... You will then have to change positioner to DiSEqC1.2, as above this time enter the DiSeQC1.2 menu, nudge the dish for peak quality... then assign a position number and store.

Average 70-71% quality : ( No two days the same signal ! But this will work.

79-80 % signal Quality here tonight : )

77-78% quality here in the ice/snow. PERFECT : )

If you dont get anything bump back on 87w, then bump a fraction further west, then do a blind scan....

I was getting 46 to 57% on the Sioux game, and up to 77% on other transponders? I nudged my dish to the west and it's now at 70% Quality.

What they mean by FTA is not what we mean by it. Most all other FTA stores/dealers cater to hacking Dish Network signals with Circular DBS Ku LNB. For true FTA you need a Linear Ku LNB You will be good to go Bob when it arrives!

The signal is down tonight to ........ wait, it just went UP to 78% quality : ) GREAT SIGNAL!!!

A SOLID 77% Quality here tonight. THAT WILL WORK : )

A good bit better today at a solid 73% signal quality : )
