Fun game. I only missed 3 on my first try.
The 3 helmets that I missed: 12, 33, and 48. They are the three helmets that didn't have a logo on them. Kind of fits into all of the discussion here lately about logos, marketing, and brand recognition!
I did get 33 on the second try(can't believe I missed on the first try) and 48 on about my 4th guess(only so many schools use that ugly color!). I never did figure out 12.
I missed 32, what was that one? 12 is army.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. We must be related or something.
That's a good one. See you next week.

What's going on with cancelling these camps? I saw last week that they cancelled a football camp as well.

Any word on a number we can expect on Tuesday. Are they still thinking a 15-20 recruit class?
Signing day is actually Wednesday.
-
Maybe you should try to get some more rest.
BTW, good luck with that for the next month or so. (j/k. Congrats. Can't wait to see the little munchkin in person. )
Yeah, thanks.

Uh, ... no?
Sorry didn't read that thread. Just saw it on ESPN when I was reading about Tubby Smith going to Minnesota.

Is it February 6 yet?
(Don't worry, the next whine will be, "Is it the end of March yet?")
I think signing day is the 7th of February.

That would be good.
Question:
Are schools working deals with providers like Sirius or XM? Are conferences? Or are just networks (for example, Westwood One) working with providers and then going to get schools/conferences for broadcast?
XM has 3 channels each I believe for the ACC, Big Ten, and Pac Ten. For football and men's basketball.

1st Team all-conference in the Great West. That seems to me to be a pretty big pickup even if he only has one year of eligibility left. Should help the line next year.

I think this list is kind of a joke considering some of the names left off it (Landon Smith, Landry, Kasowski, Sauvageau, German, Glaser, Zarak, Weidler, etc.), but here's a list of the supposed top prospects in North Dakota according to the ESPN site: link.
You can have your name put on that list by filling out some info online and you can also send them game tape and I believe that is part of how they come up with your score.

Second on my list is Steve Huber blowing past Joe Toth and blocking a Bison punt in the end zone which was recovered by K.J. Coughlan for a touchdown. It began a memorable aafternoon for Sioux fans in Memorial Stadium and "364 days of Hell" for Rocky and the Gang.

Are you sure that happened in GF? Wasn't that at the Fargodome???

I guess I don't know if I posted this in the right spot or not.

Espn has this 50 states 50 days thing going on. They are going to be in Oakes for the Cal Ripken baseball on Saturday July 23rd. Supposed to be on Sportscenter and talk about the state. Anyway they have a poll of 10 ?'s you can vote on. Get a load of Question #1 Answer #4 and Question #4 and the last answer on that one. Does anybody look anything up or ask any damn questions. Drives me nuts.
Here is the link http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation...g?event_id=1448

He was just hired as an assistant by the Bobcats.
-
They said on the sportscast that he had "signed"
-
It was on the news here in Bismarck last night that G Aaron Walski of the Bismarck Bobcats signed with the Sioux for next year. There wasn't anything in the paper here today though. Anyone else see this or know anything about it?
-
It was on the news out here, but I don't remember seeing it in the paper either.

This must have just been posted. http://www.fightingsioux.com/sports/footba...RELEASE_ID=3424

Not to make fun of Saint Cloud State, but they must not be making much of a name for themselves because I never heard of them until I started following North Dakota.--Is john nash the sick "professor" who said that babies could be murdured up to two months after birth because he did not feel they had obtained "personhood" status? Then princeton turned around and gave him a raise. I would never allow a child to go to a place like that. It is hard to imagine that almost all the ivy league schools started out as seminaries founded by clergy.

Nash is a mathematician/economist that the movie A Beautiful Mind was about.

Am I in the right spot??? This is Siouxsports right?? Seem to be a lot of bison on this board talking to each other.
