Oh, I love that one. I've been pushing for the "University of North Dakota Screaming Weasels". Oh, to hope and dream!
However, because I have decided on this board I will never use the "S" word anymore for UND, I will also add a boycott of the "B" word for little brother, NDSU to the south of the flagship university. After three years (or if the S name comes back), I will choose a new nickname for NDSU. And, it won't be pretty!
Do you want me to notify NDSU of this eath shattering news? I am sure they will be crushed.

I was part of a study group formed by the NC$$ to ensure that no group of thin-skinned, bed-wetting individuals would be excluded from its crusade to cleanse "insensitivity" from the land. So, naturally in the spirit of comradeship and good faith, I decided to help our mentally deficient friends from 'su see the error of their hateful ways.

Is it with past UND fans saying "Go ....." or current NDSU fans still chanting "..... suck!"
I sure hope the NCAA hears about this incident.
NDSU deserves some NCAA "proctology" for a while.
I think the Forum should ask Jesse Taken Alive and Tex Hall how they view the phrase "..... suck!" in comparison to say the (Lehigh guy) N-word.

Once upon a time people didn't think that slavery would ever be made illegal. Right now people don't think the absurd NCAA anti Native American policy will ever be made illegal.Those two facts are both true, so how you can continue to dismiss the comparison really blows my mind.

UND is doing what is required to keep their membership in the BSC. The SL Tribe and the petition from members of the SR Tribe are done separate of the ND State Government institutions and the U of North Dakota.
Just because some crank columnist from Sacramento says "throw them out" doesn't mean it is even something on the radar of the BSC. Jeez!
UND is a member of the BSC and that won't change unless UND wants it to.

Of course, but FCS is still the lower end of the spectrum. Kind of the runner up division. Off lesser importance. Division I in name only. The real top national championship is between 'Bama and LSU. Not NDSU and the Sam Austin Broncos or whoever they are playing.
Agreed, kind of like NCAA hockey is a lesser sport when compared to NCAA football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling.

Care to refute the rest of my statement (I threw in the YSU comment as a joke, but I understand that humor in text form is often difficult to decipher, especially with all the people on the internet who make statements like that and actually believe them)? And I'm not trying to attack you here or anything, just acknowledging that both fan bases think they are better known than they really are.

His arrest was the latest in a string of bad news for college football in Montana.
On May 18, Montana State football coach Mike Kramer was fired after another of his former players was arrested. Over the past year, four former MSU football players and one current player have been arrested on criminal charges, including a murder charge filed against a former redshirt football player.
