  1. A great line from, a great song "Never forget where you're from..."

I was born in Grand Forks, my family and I moved away, I returned and graduated from UND. As a kid I spent many Friday and Saturday nights at the Old Ralph watchin' Hrkac Circus and the boys. I love UND moveover, I LOVE FIGHTING SIOUX HOCKEY!!! In my heart, Grand Forks will always be my home, HOME OF THE FIGHTING SIOUX!!!

My answer to the poll runs deeper than the choice answers provided.

  2. Maybe he's to blame on this one.

He gets so many good offensive D but gets NOTHING in the way of stay at home D.

Minnesota has gone years without a D like a Chorney. They haven't had a good answer for UND's Commodores, Greenes, Smabys, etc. since DeMarchi. They could have with Jake Taylor, but he was a flash in the pan, turning down a 4 year career with UMN and starting his pro dance then to jumping at the first opportunity and hence becoming an AHL lifer.

So, in any case, too bad. It's one of the reasons why I love UND hockey. It stresses balance. Try to get the offensive prowess UMN is known for with the defensive excellence UW is known for.

The best mix is the winner.

    I agree, balance.

  3. Probably the fact that he has been branded the WCHA's little beeotch, after her refused to honor the code and fight Jonse.

Yeah, wasn't that something... Lucia just casually skated away.

  4. Who would have predicted Michigan State two years ago with their less than stellar regular season record and no elite players in their lineup. However, they had good goaltending, a good D and balanced scoring from their lineup. There is always hope.

Yes there is hope and along with hope there are dreams. It is dreams that make life tolerable. I prefer the kind of dreams that come true, like the SIOUX winning the National Title!

It is my belief that we have underachieved in the last few seasons. This is not to say we didn't make good runs at the title, but we really should have brought home the hardware at the very least, once in the last few years. It's not how you start the season, hell it's not how you perform in the middle of the season, it's how you finish the season, winning the National Title! GO SIOUX!!!
