Well, yes and no but I don't really see us with this UND team's inconsistency coming back tomorrow with a win and then having to probably make the championship game in the NCHC tourney to have a chance at the NCAAs. It has been an interesting year for sure...

Exactly... but there in lies the rub... where is the line? What is obvious? If the refs call it consistently I am fine with it but that seems to be a rarity with NCAA officiating.

I didn't see the Shaw penalty but what frustrates me the most is there is no definitive line at what constitutes interference... by the rule book, there is interference at a rate of about 2 a minute.

I haven't had many chances to see UND live this year and would love to take my wife and kids to Saturdays game... If anyone has some cheap(er) tickets they don't plan on using please let me know.

I wasn't either... the Mavs certainly controlled play for the first half of the third but that wasn't due to UND's lack of effort in my opinion. The Mavs have a skilled team and there is no way UND is going to control 60 minutes of any hockey game, let alone a NCHC playoff game. If UND plays how they have the last couple of games I feel good about their chances of making the NCAAs.

You are correct. I'm not sure of your point. When I talk about playing a full 60 it is when they aren't coasting and getting beat to pucks they shouldn't and lazy dump-ins when they could carry the puck in. I forget what game it was last weekend but a UND player dumped it in on a 3 on 2 rush for no other reason than he was playing lazy-ass hockey.
