    You forgot to put.."being in the student section" but yelling KE-VIN SPIEWAK!!! is pretty cool though

    yah I did forget that! I thougth of like 5 things after I posted it. Being in the student section makes the game about 10 times better!! I love it when they do the whole " Here's your University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Scoring!" thing. That's one of the things i forgot. It's deffinatley the funnest to yell KEVIN SPIEWAK!! :D

    oh, and siouxrock- katie o'keefe is SUPER annoying!! but you probly just like her cuz you think she's hott!! Maybe if I were a guy I might like her more but I'm not a lezbo!

    When should Zach go?

    If Zach does go he will probably go his junior year. He confuses me sometimes because first he said he was gunna leave as soon as he could, then he said he wasn't gunna leave 'till we won an NCAA championship, and who knows what he's gunna do now! I want him to stay all 4 yeasr sooo bad but he needs to do whats' best for him.

    I don't think Zach should leave for the NHL untill he is done with college. He's only gunna be 21 when he graduates and I think 21 years old is plenty early to be goin to the NHL. Plus what is he gunna do when he's done with hockey? I know that he's gunna have enough money to support his family when he's done with his hockey career but he might want to go into something else that requires a college degree. But, if he gets a once in a lifetime chance and a really good deal to play hockey for a team that he has always wanted to play for, then I think he should go for it! He brings a lot to our hockey program at UND and we could use him for another 3 years. But it's his desision, no one else's and he needs to make the choice on his own.

    I think that Uncle David :D is the best player but I voted for Bochenksi! :lol: I only voted for Boche cuz he is my favorite player and I figured that David was gunna get all the votes! I didn't think that Parise was gunna get as many votes as he has been getting cuz I thought everyone knew that David was the best! Zach is a remarkable player but I don't think he is best player material quite yet. I do, however, think he was ROY material!

    Hey sioux_11- thats how I feel! Well maybe hate is too stong of a word, but I STRONGLY dislike the Goophers! :) And melde, what was that you were saying about Packers fans? We're whiny, was that it? I think you know that every team has whiny fans so just lay off! And siourock- you're right! the Goophers do think they are better than us in everything but deep down, I think they know damn well that we rock in everything!! ;)

    Well it's hard to compare forwards and defensemen, but in the past few games, my vote goes to Jake Brandt. He's playing unbelievable right now, and that's good, considering we are heading to the big dance ;)

    Ooops!! I forgot about the goalies! :)

    Is UMD for real?

    I think that the fact that CC and UMD went into OT was a complete fluke. CC is a very good team and they shold have been able to just blow the bulldogs out if the water 'cuz UMD isn't that wonderful of a team. And I think that if we played with the heart we had last weekend we could have beat UMD.

    Great Season

    I would just like to say that the hockey team has done great this year. We've had our ups and downs, but, to me, its been a great season. Each player has had their own moment of greatness. These guys we have playing for us, are awesome. We are also gonna lose some great seniors. They have each played a big role for our team. Next year we will be going even farther. I know they can do it. I hope our new recruits can help us get to be #1 in the country.

    I don't know about you guys but, I would probably never be able to do what they do. Sure some are born with hockey in their blood, but they still had to work at it.

    Times when it seemed impossible to win, they pulled it off and won the game.

    I am always proud to say that my favorite team is the Fighting Sioux hockey team. No matter if they are winning or losing. No matter what anyone says about them - to me, they are the best. :)

    Hey MeMe, that's EXACTLY how I feel. Yah, they have had soem bad games but overall, they have done great. When the sophmores now are seniors, I think we'll have a very very good chance of winning the NCAA 'ship!! ;)

    How about a loud yell of "You've got NOTHIN'!" after the last opposing starting player is announced? :D

    I think that's cool. I would say it but I don't think it will catch on unless someone gets a bunch of people to do it a lot. Well I would only do it if I were sitting in the student section because they all probably would do it but not many other people do cheers besides the students. That's what sucks :)

    I've always liked "I wanna drive the Zamboni" by the Gear Daddies... though I haven't been to a Sioux home game in sveral years so I don't know if they play anymore.

    Yes, they still play it. They played it at the Sunday night game.
