  1. Last night during the Wild game I swear I saw that FSN would be picking up the West Regional, but looking at the comcast schedule right now it says nothing about the SCSU game and the Wild play Detroit at 7. Maybe the games will be on the alternate channel 692 in the Twin Cities? Anyone see that last night during the Wild game? I'm also sure they said they'd be carrying the Sioux game live Saturday afternoon. crap...did I dream this?

  2. wow, for the past 5-6 years Sensors has been "The" Sioux bar in Minny...

Yeah, I'd never say it's a Sioux bar, because it isn't. Too me, if it was a "Sioux bar" then the Sioux wouldn't get bumped for MMA fights and would be one of the most important sporting events they show. There have been many times where I've gone to the one in Bloomington or Roseville and the host looks at me like he/she doesn't know what I'm talking about when I ask for a seat for the Sioux game and he/she has to go talk to a manager. I mean the place is okay, but it's really nothing to get excited about. And lol @ "best food in town" comment. Not even close.

Last night during the Wild game FSN said they would be broadcasting the Sioux v. Yale game so you don't really need to go to Senser's it will be broadcast all over the Twin Cities.

  3. Absolutely we have beer on sundays in ND. You do in MN as well just not offsale of full content beers and liquors. I know this because I have enjoyed a few finer cool bevies at the HHH watching the vikes.

glad I spent the night in Eau Claire last night. hit the beer store in Hudson on the way home to St. Paul

    Go Sioux, finish these guys!

  4. Any word on what this alternate channel is in St. Paul?

I just found out that this do nothing poor excuse for an NHL team is on instead of the Sioux/Goofers and I. am. fuming.

  5. I gotta hand it to some of you Gopher fans, you're not all bad. :)

Scored some reserved seats for tonight's game from a season ticket holder today (I live in the Twin Cities). I responded to his craigslist ad and even though he had tons of emails/responses he sold them to me knowing full well I was a Sioux fan, simply because I was the first response. The guy is so solid he even said he'd put me on his list of people to call when he can't make a game at Mariucci for the next couple of seasons.

Enjoy the series this weekend everyone!

    Go Sioux!

  6. I remember a few years ago my uncle had a book that broke down the history of UND hockey season by season with a lot of pics. I cannot remember the title of the book and have been trying to find it through google, amazon, and looked at the REA Sioux shop, but haven't had any luck. Anyone know of the book I'm referring to or did I dream about this? Anyone know where I could find/purchase this book, if it exists?

  7. Yeah, the Joe could hold it, but the NCAA is rather Anal about what ads are up in a building when they're there and the Wings would probably be in the playoffs at the time and looking to sell tickets. It would be a pain in the arse for Olympia Entertainment there to cover all of the ads up for a weekend of NCAA stuff. Ford Field has nothing going on and they pretty much have weeks to get ready for it and plenty of time to take it all down as well. The NCAA's can have it all set up just the way they want it, and with a little luck, we won't have those stupid blue boards, which makes following the puck hard to do.

I'm sure people bellyached the first time they did the Final Four in a football stadium as well.

Are you saying the Wild won't be making a playoff push in 2011!?!
