Chay Genoway is listed on the roster for this camp and they have him down as wearing #43.
The 2011 Wild Development Camp will run July 12-17 and will feature two scrimmages that are open to the public and free of charge on Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17 at Xcel Energy Center. Both scrimmages will start at 11 a.m. Gate One will open at 10:30 a.m. both days. The first 1,000 fans Saturday will receive a complimentary Wild Devin Setoguchi t-shirt and all fans can register to win a Devin Setoguchi autographed jersey. The first 1,000 fans at Sunday's scrimmage will receive a complimentary Wild Dany Heatley t-shirt and all fans can register to win a Dany Heatley autographed jersey.
I'm hearing from more than a few Wild fans that were in attendance that Chay really wowed them at the Xcel yesterday. I think he was paired with Brodin, Minny's 1st round pick in this years draft, but I'm not sure. He scored a goal too.
I'm hoping to be able to make it to the arena for today's scrimmage.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. We'll definitely be checking out Lambeau and the Packer HOF. My gf's parents and grandfather are driving up from the Milwaukee area to have dinner with us tomorrow night. We're taking her grandfather (lived in WI his whole life/Packer fan) to the HOF and dinner at Curly's Pub, he's never been to Lambeau and is pretty stoked.

My girlfriend and I are going. I've never been to GB so I have no idea what to do/see besides go to the games.
We'll be in by Friday afternoon and are staying at the Days Inn Downtown.

what number did you call?
800-895-0071

I was thinking the same thing. They said the tickets come from Green Bay via UPS, if it can't get to MPLS or Duluth by Friday, UPS is in trouble.
I called that number back and asked if I could just order tickets over the phone. She said, "sure." Why not just tell me that the 1st time I called? lol
So I secured 2 full session packs at will call and saved about $30 on shipping and fees.
Can't wait to hit the road on Friday for Green Bay!
-
So, I just got the okay to order tickets.
I pulled tickets at the Resch Center website, but the only delivery options are UPS ground or air. I gotta think that's cutting it too close at this point.
I called their service center and they said they know about the problem and will call should be one of the options. They're trying to fix it and told me to try again in 4 hours. ARG! You guys think I have to worry about this selling out during these 4 hours?

Hopefully she is as much of a fan as you are. Promise her something good this summer to let you go.
she's from Wisconsin and never cared about hockey until she met me. I took her up to REA for her 1s time this year (notre dame), she went to the SShop during the 1st intermission and bought a jersey.
also, everytime we go to a game or watch it on TV together the Sioux always win, so she's a good luck charm. I just need to remind her of that, and that we need to go, because the team needs her.

I'll be there with my wife. Making the 5 hour drive from Duluth.
Anyone else going or thinking about making the trek? It's only about 5 hours from MPLS
yep, I'd be driving from St. Paul. I was just going over hotels and ticket costs. This seems do able. Need to talk the old lady into it, wish me luck.

Tempting...my son has a mites game in Prior Lake that wil end around 3:00 pm. I'd be flying solo so this might be a sweet move. I won't have access to SiouxSports.com but you can text me at 612-386-8207. I'm not sure I can pull it off but let me know price and we'll go from there.
Thanks,

Hello, a friend of mine from Fargo had to cancel on tonight's game in St. Cloud.
I'm in St. Paul and I'm driving up to St. Cloud this afternoon. I plan to be in town by 4:00. If any of you Sioux fans need an extra ticket, I could meet you at MC's or some other establishment downtown to exchange the ticket for face value. Leave me a PM here with your phone number, if interested. I'll be checking back frequently.
Go Sioux!

oh baby! Missed that goal and came back to see a different Sioux team. Let's go boys!!!!
-
That can't wait until after the game? j/k
ha! I wish, I'm in St. Paul...it's rarely stopped this year.
-
argh! missed the goal as I'm getting ready to go plow snow.
GoSioux!

Forbort gave the puck away. He needs to pick up his intensity, very lackadaisical move on the boards.
the whole team needs to pick of the intensity.
LET'S GO SIOUX

The date that was always talked about was June 30th, but I've seen some conflicting stories that they might be allowed to sell out whatever product they have left at that time. As far as customization goes, they won't be able to sell the logo after whatever the date ends up being, so they wouldn't be able to customize anything that includes that logo.
cool thanks. I guess I just need to get this jersey in to them come graduation time to be safe; that should be plenty of time to get the jersey finished even if it does end up being june 30. actually, do I need to wait for graduation or could I send it once the season is over?
-
So, use of the logo/sales end on June 30th, right?
I want to have jersey customized through the Sioux Shop with the name and number of a current player, but that can't be done until he graduates per NCAA rules. Does anyone know if the Sioux Shop will also have to stop customization of jersey's once they aren't allowed to sell merchandise with the Sioux logo?

in the other thread it has been posted that tonight's game will be shown at all Senser's locations!
-
Cheesemover wanted me to pass this along: The 4 Joe Senser's locations will be showing the game on their big screens tonight.
YES! you just made my day!

Does anyone know if the Sioux are showing any interest in the kid from Devils Lake, Keaton Thompson?
My uncle (from DL) told me that Lucia has been up to see him play. Funny story that goes with that, but I don't know how much truth there is to it. Apparently, someone asked Lucia what he was doing there, since the kid isn't from Minnesota. Lucia replied, "he was born in Eden Prairie." .....lol
-
Does anybody know if the game will be on at joe sensor's?
if you find out it's going to be on at Senser's please shoot me a pm
-
Well it's the best thing you are going to find in the Twin Cities!
unfortunately, you're absolutely correct. I just wish there was something better, but outside of me or some other Sioux fan opening their own place that's not going to happen. we are in the goopher hole after all.
-
good, at least I'll get the Sioux live...thanks.
edit: my apologies, I didn't see the TV Coverage thread.

Gives us his 2 cents on the Sioux/Gopher weekend series and a bit of WCHA smack talk.
