I appreciate having some college hockey coverage here, as long as I'm in the Twin Cities, but "state of hockey" my ass...they only pay attention to their gofers when they are kicking everyone elses butt...the Star Trib should be embarassed at their coverage of college hockey...and Puffy; this guy is a total rube and !@#!$!...I laughed last year when he was crying like a little girl on the postgame show after the Sioux took out the Metro-sexuals in the regional...didn't he also get fired from Fox for bashing the referees after a game? Stay classy Minnesota!
I like PA and Dubay (aka Puffy). I think they are great for Minnesota sports in general. Theres alot of times i agree with Puffy about our beloved Sioux. I think though as the years go by and we keep tearing his heart out he becomes a little more bitter. As we all get older it seems like we tend to respect our rivals more and more for there is always a time when we will have to face the same wrath we sew. I can see him getting older and a little more bitter with his words because of all the recent success of UND and the downfall of his beloved gophers. UND fans throw it in his face day after day and we expect him to say we are perfect without a weakness and there is no way anybody is greater then us.....blah blah.
If you were him you probably wouldnt be much different, infact I doubt many of you would give credit where credit is due like he has about us in ND as of late.
If your better at what he does and can say more with less bias, start a talk show, and do a better job.
Im a huge Sioux fan and a huge vikings fan and i love the mixed rivalry we have with the folks to the south. I think they are a great group and i will continue to listen whenever i can.

I think we've settled the new nickname problem. I in fact like Murder Incorporated more better than the Fighting Sioux.
North Dakota North Stars would be a good one to get a rise outta rodent central. Our motto could be "Here to Stay!"

Rube cred, what I like is that the FSN RM annoucers were fun to listen to last night, they didn't pile on the Sioux like the boobs from FSN-N in MPLS.
Very true! I was pleasantly surprised by the way the Sioux came out and controlled game 2 last night from start to finish. Its been fun reading everyones posts.
Well they just fired up the engines for the 500 so im out for now.

Its just another example of a wanna-be team starting something and the Sioux finishing it. Woog said it himself during the Gophers series that we stick together and stick up for each other like a real team should.

we are cheering for college students to play better hockey after a huge ass win. Im sorry but i can only imagine what they are going to do tonight. I doubt tomorrows effort will leave us "happy"

Hmm...with the way you ended your post, I'm wondering who the "wishy washy" one is?
I know im not going to change the channel, but im not scared of seeing a team take a game off knowing the got the first 2 points. If we win with effort then great!!!! But if we win wiht lazy play i would be less then happy

Funny how things go.
Early 2nd period, I was glad that I didn't go to the game.
Very late 2nd and 3rd, I was really wishing that I had gone to the game.
This will teach you to not be so "wishy washy". Care more and cheer more wether its win or lose. The losses hurt more and the wins become sweeter...
This was a game i was not expecting. This looked alot like a ccha game with alot of flow...denver out played us for 2.5 periods easily....we were lucky to get a little "puck luck"as u all talk about to keep us in this game. I guarentee Kozek is getting a little something something right now by a sweet little something.
We hope thay can come back and make a game tomorrow but something tells me we will suk and sit here wondering where our team went.

If it's this mum...I doubt it's leaving for the pros or something of that nature.
It will probably be either a serious personal issue/family, or academic/legal problems. Either way, a big blow to the Pios.
I hope it doesnt have anything to do with his bro that was seriously injured last year by a car.
