just to set it straight. Radke did deserve the 2nd penalty on Sunday. though it was not roughing it should have been interference....
As soon as it happened I looked at my buddy and said uh-oh Radke just set a nice pick, and the whistle went for roughing...
Gotta be smarter.

True. He is our best player now, I tend to forget about the goalies even though he is our whole team. There's nothing not to like about Kangas but people can find plenty of stuff to hate on about Wheels/Osh

Which would be a dumb-ass thing to have done. You get tossed in the box for two minutes and give up a shorthanded goal. Then at least while you watch someone else advance to the Final Five you can puff out your chest and say you protect the goalie. The best way is to light the guy up the next chance you get. It is better to be patient and tough than dumb and out of the tournament.
First thing, not knowing the difference between a powerplay and shorty makes you suspect!
You're right I'd rather have my guys take all the goofers cheap crap (like mankato did) and not do a thing about it
... Look where it got Mankato. At some point you have to let the other guy know that you mean business.
I'm not saying punch everyone in the mouth that skates by you, but by no means back down to a soft team...
Also the Mavs player was checked into the goalie when luciapet jr. cross checked. That's why kangas was not upset, he should be mad at his own player for being dumb...

Perhaps if the goofers kept their sticks out of the mavs skates, they wouldn't have run into the goalie.
That was about the worst officiated hockey ever.
And the goofs are soft. The thing I like about UND, if someone hits you after the whistle/cheap shots you or runs Lammy we hit 'em in the mouth.

I think they really coasted through the 3rd and OT. Thinking they were gonna win...
The st. clown series Lw was frustrating as they didn't play great , but they didn't lose. That might have crept into their minds like even when we play half a$$ed we still don't lose.
Losing sucks and there is no bigger wake up call than blowing a game you had won.
I think a loss now is ok we just start a new winning streak with tomorrow. and I am guessing they will be flying...

I just got a slingbox for my buddy who lives in GF. I will be able to watch local GF cable from anywhere I get broadband...
The best part will be going to GF to hook it up (perhaps during the MSU game)

does anyone else see the irony in this.......i don't care how good jonathon toews is....YOU HAVE TO PROVE YOURSELF!!!! not in the world juniors...not in college....not at shattucks.....IN THE LEAGUE YOU ARE TRYING TO COMPETE IN.....funny thing is that he knows that and alot of people here are hoping that he is an arrogant prick like eli or john elway and says no to the blackhawks so he'll stay one more year here...
If toews feels he is ready he will go. simple as that.
I am guessing another year at college getting stronger would help his game, but I am not a scout so maybe he is the next sid the kid.

I believe that the Defensive style of MSU and the ability to check your opponent really hampered BC. I saw a dozen hits tonight that would have resulted in a PP on Thursday.
I can't respect a team the dives and runs the goalie. That's not hockey.
In the end justice was served. IMHO.
What a way to lose for BC. OUCH 19 seconds left. Really? I think BC thought if they could get by UND it was a matter of showing up, cause they looked really different tonight.

With people up in arms us losing 3 years in a row to bc (which is hard to swallow), would you rather suffer michigan's fate?
They lost to a conference team they had beaten twice this year and was 4th in the ccha.
Would we rather have lost to a SCSU or Mankato in this game?
