  1. Sunday afternoon game on NBC features the season's only scheduled matchup between two of the hottest teams this Spring -- Blackhawks at Capitals.

    On NBC right now.

Caught the last period. Thought your Caps had it, before a Blackhawk PP goal tied the game @ 38 sec...

Caps beautiful goal in OT makes it a good weekend for you... :) Close wins by the Sioux & Capitals!

  2. "The bottom line is this, my Dad dedicated the last years of his life to keep the "Fighting Sioux Name and Logo" alive and well and also to make sure that no one including the NCAA or anyone else trys to take it away from the great school of UND. I hope that the law passes and NCAA and the people against this law (that never should have even been needed) get move on with their lives and dedicate them to do something more useful and important and quit pickin on the great name of "The Fighting Sioux" "

Tom, Wish granted! A tribute to your dad's legacy... and that of all diehard Sioux fans who voiced their support for the name they honor!

  3. I am seeing more and more stories from these media outlets coming AFTER I see a post here on siouxsports.com. They have gone as far as quoting posters on the messageboard. The latest WDAZ "SCOOP" was the Gaddafi rebel wearing the Sioux shirt, which was old news to me, since I read the story this morning. The Williams and Ree story was also posted on siouxsports.com first, with a GF Herald story coming later.

Thanks to all of the fine members of this site, these guys have a much easier job. And to all of the WDAZ and GF Herald people reading this right now, instead of lurking, why don't you register, say hi, or maybe offer a kind "thank you" to the posters on this site?

I've noticed the same thing lately... many times. :silly:

  4. That's a huge issue. Technology has helped the local farmers, but improved drainage IMO is the #2 reason behind the current wet cycle that raises the Red past major flood stage yearly as of late.

    Waffle Plan !!!

  5. Nice to see Trupp get one on senior day. He has had a ton of chances.

Nice to see Danny Kristo at the rink. Looks like he has recovered from the frostbite that was supposedly ALL OVER HIS BODY!

They showed Kristo earlier - still on crutches.....so not totally recovered.

  6. I am!

Just graduated from UND last May. Is there a group of Alums that get together for the games?

Not that we're aware of. We've watched the Sioux at TJ's Referee, BWW, and have had luck getting Old Chicago to tune it in, if available.
