Grafton lost with a shot from the blue line with 1.9 left. score was 4-3
Sounds like it was a good game between 2 teams that had not played well as of late. Did both teams play well, or was it some sloppy play(passing, shooting, etc.)

RR 5 South 2

GPR played an off game. Bad passing, bad shooting! West Fargo was on, but Sand was excelllent. WF was hitting hard and breaking out well. Game was 0-0 after 2, and GPR got one a few into the 3rd. Not more than 4-5 minutes later WF got one in, but the refs blew the whistle just before the player jammed it in from under Sand's glove. I am not sure if Sand had his glove on it yet or not, but whistle did blow kinda quick. Spoilers then added one with about 40 seconds to go, short-handed.

They list Birthplace for the player.
Barry Tallackson is listed to be from Grafton, North Dakota because he was born there. He moved away, I believe, before he played any organized hockey. As for Guastad, he was born in Fargo, and then they moved away.

You must have a boner over this Chad Demers kid, he isn't even that good. There is no way that the Gophers are looking at him.
He isn't good? Going into last night here were his stats for the year.
4th most points in state Chad Demers GPR Sophomore F 13 Goals; 12 Assists; 25 Total Points; He added a goal last night in GPRs 8-2 win over Fargo North
He was a key player in the Bantam A Championship they won last year as well

GPR Spoilers win 3-1 over DL
9 wins in a row now for the Spoilers, with Red River coming to town on Saturday!

This might be the year when the #1 seed from the West finally wins in the opening round.
The #1 seed should almost always win in the opening round, but I don't see a West team that is even better than the 5th best team in the East.

Devils Lake may not be a contender to take 1st or 2nd in the EDC race. We can all agree on that. But come the time in the EDC or state tournements any team can win on any given day (exception to maybe Wahpeton and Shanley this year). With that being said, I highly doubt come tournement time that either South or Red River will overlook Devils Lake, so I don't think it's very reasonable for anyone else to overlook them.
Earlier this year DL beat in DL, and Jamestown just beat DL in Jamestown.(According to ND State High School Hockey Page)

Sis I think you were thinking of Roseau, Moorhead hasn't played Warroad yet.
Yes, I am sorry! Moorhead beat Roseau earlier this year and Roseau was ranked Number 1

Warroad is currently ranked # 6 in the state in the latest AP/Let's Play Hockey poll in Class A. They are now 9-3-1. To me, the Grafton-Park River 4-1 win over Warroad WAS impressive. Anytime a North Dakota team can knock off a perennial power in Minnesota hockey, like Warroad is ... year in year our, I think "a congrats" is on order.
Warroad was the number 1 team in the State a few weeks ago when they played Moorhead. They can't be down that bad.
Great win by the SPOILERS!!!!!!!!

I agree, they would need to win the west and hope someone like Shanley sneeks in the 4th seed from east. They wouldn't beat North, Central, DL, but maybe West Fargo.
Definately not RR, South, nor Grafton-Park River
