It was announced on Friday that former Fighting Sioux Curtis Murphy was named to the AHL All-Star Canadian Team. Travis Roche, who is also a Sioux Alumni, and current teammate of Curtis Murphy on the Houston Aeros, will also be on the All-Star Team. http://www.theahl.com/AHLNews0301/24_murphy.html

Greetings, all! I just wanted to give you an update on Curtis Murphy. He was called up by the Wild last month, but only played one game with them. A majority of the team had the flu, so a few Aeros were called up during that time to help out. As of last night's Aeros' game, Murphy has scored in the past six games. The past five goals have been on power plays. Also a little info on Travis Roche...he has been selected to be in the AHL All-Star game. He hasn't played in the past few games with the Aeros due to the flu (maybe one of the other players brought it back from Minnesota ). Curtis Murphy is my favorite Aero, so I'll try to keep you updated as much as I can.
