  1. Seeburg and Bombenger both led their teams in scoring and had very productive years. Apparently enough coaches around the state acknowledged that and gave them the recognition they deserved.
  2. It's not that they are horrible, it's that the East always wins against the West. You have to give Jamestown credit for those wins, but until this last year, Jamestown was an Eastern Division team.
  3. Internal problems with the team. Non conference game and wanted to make a statement.
  4. I heard that Wilson didn't play the first two lines, any truth too that?
  5. Does anyone have an update on the DL vs. North game?
  6. "With all due respect to his teammates, Tyler Klein doesn't have enough help and it is easier for a good team to key on and shut down 1 or 2 players." Your right, good players with good line mates can be a very powerful weapon. Klein not having enough help seems a bit of a stretch. ND Pride what is your opinion, you seem to make it to a lot of North games. Is klein being shut down by having poor line mates?
  7. Meland and Wurden are definitely a couple of the best players in the state. It's going to be a great game watching these two battle it out. Miller is a very good player and is a huge reason Grafton has won their last 9 games. (Not to exclude Hills, Demers, and Sand) Klein has yet to impress anyone netting a whopping 4 goals this year in 12 games. Also, its not that Klein is making great passes and getting assists, he's taking poor shots and his line mates are picking up the trash. Placing Klein over Meland would be a joke.
  8. South has problems every year with playing time. Wilson frequently rolls only two lines. I find it hard to believe that RR and South's 3rd and 4th lines would start for any one of these teams. (North, WF, Jamestown) The puck isn't just falling into the net because some players are getting a little extra playing time. Zach Welding, Tanner Bombenger, Tyler Klein would make both RR and South's team and would easily be on the top two lines. "I know this because we (RR) had players on 3rd and fourth lines that would have been starting for north wf james and all the weaker teams, and the case is the same this year." . . . The players on the third and fourth line would easily slide up to second and third at all three schools, (North, WF, Jamestown) but they wouldn't bump of any first line.
  9. 50 is a lot. If that is correct, that is pretty impressive.
  10. It was 5-2, the 4th goal (Bombenger) came around 7 min. left and the 5th goal (Dahl) was around 21 seconds.
  11. Your right, Klein has made numerous break out passes to set up his line mates. It
  12. Klein did have a nice goal. He would be a much better player if he used his line mates more. He seems to try to do it all too much.
  13. Like ND Pride stated, North was in penalty trouble in the third where WF scored one of their goals. It could have been a lot worse, but North was able to kill it off. North had no team work on first line. There were numerous times where the player was out of position and had a man open, but decided to take a shot. North's second line came up big with the second and third goals(Labernick).
  14. Tough news. Best of luck to his family in these rough times.
  15. 3-2 DL over North in OT. Very clean game, only like 5 penalties.
  16. Diechert was one of the best goalies last year and very easily could be the best this year.
  17. Who netted North's goals? Where would you put north now on the rankings? 3rd, 4th, 5th?
  18. Who netted North's goals? Where would you put north now on the rankings? 3rd, 4th, 5th?
