If UND gets the Lamoureux twins, they get one more player to compliment their skills and their instantly the gophers as with wendell, darwitz, and stephens. Sure they might not want to play for an average or below average team, but if they were here...it wouldn't be.

How about we bring Hrkac back to UND to cover the coaching duties. The attendance would also improve as we saw how much he is still supported during the Maine series.

Parise was by no means given the number one spot from day 1. I believe he started splitting time with Brandt because Brandt kept screwing up on and off the ice. Phil is a very steady goaltender and will definately be able to guide his team to the frozen four. Do we know that the reason mario went to northern Michigan is because of his dad? For all we know, him and his jaques(sp) are closer beings they are closer in age. Lots of things could have come into play I suppose.

Watched the Mavericks last weekend. This is the quickest MSU team that has ever taken the ice. Also a very solid tender in Kehler. Going to be a real challenge for the Sioux.

A minor point, I am familiar with the UMD program and history. Enough to say that historically, they don't really concentrate their recruiting efforts on the top US talent.

I agree, Mankato will be a tough test, as they got some high level recruits from Minnesota to blend with their upper-classmen. How about the fighting sioux Freshman class though? Best class to come in yet. Anybody know of any top-level early comittments for 07-08?
