Must of learned how to play football from Northwestern I saw them give up 31 4th quarter points to Michigan a few years ago in a 38 to 35 game. And they quickly turn the scoreboard off after the game before I could get a picture to show my friends. Their fans were in shock then, and they have to be feeling a bit down again this morning. But to blow a 31 point lead of 38 - 7 midway in the 3rd last night. Becomes, just another case of "Oh, it's just the gopher football team."

Will Lammy put inserts to widen this jersey, like the home one he wears?

Tech down down 2 - 0 to Michigan 4:14 in 2nd. For the pairwise watchers. Also, Michigan State did not wear the new jerseys, as they wore their home white's. Must only have the new one in green.

Tech just might win the GLI this year! Something they have not since 1980. Michigan is playing as bad as the Sioux. State should walk over Harvard, and then Tech will muck it up with State. This weekend can't be happening. Even Wayne State got 7 goals at home. They only had 3 for the season going into tonight! This is not good.

It is true! The letters are out, as I got mine today. Now comes the wait to see how bad the seats are going to be. Also, what to wear? Should I wear the Jon Durno jersey, or not to one of the games? It will help a few of the people with their little list of schools at the Frozen Four. To those of you who are going this year, C-YA there! I just got word that a friend in the St. Louis area, that he got a letter stating that he was not selected for tickets this year.

I was at the CHA title game this past year in Detroit, between Bemidji and Niagara. The CHA plays good hockey, but not great hockey. If we're lucky Wayne State can do the CHA proud and ruin the gophers opening weekend. I've seen Wayne go into Munn at Michigan State and win in overtime. It was great! About two dozen Wayne State fans made it to the game, and the rest of the 6,000+ were dead silent. I was the only person with a Wayne State jersey on that night, and it was great walking out of there.

I'm on the "outside" and wished I had wore one of my two game worn HC jerseys to the Frozen Four. I got mine in Feb. from a friend who got me the Durno jersey (pic). I almost took it with me to the FF in Milwaukee. Too bad, as I sat in a section next to the Fighting Sioux Band with four gophers. Two rows in front of me were BU fans chanting Holy Cross for all three games. Sioux fans are the best!! They'll party with anyone.
