  1. I know this thread is for updates and I apologize in advance for asking a question on this thread. I'm sure this question has been asked before but I've never heard the answer. Why is there dispairity between each schools records against each other? The gophers claim to hold an 129-112-11 record against us, while we claim to hold a 111-122-11 record against the gophers. Does anyone out there know the real reason we differ in our records against one another? Thanks.

  2. Thanks Canuck! That almost brought tears to my eyes. The games at the old ralph were great, but it was time for an update. The atmosphere in the new ralph is getting better and better, and the building is undoubtedly a great recruiting tool.

  3. I also wanted to add my thanks to Psb on this message board. Regrettably, I didn't purchase my system from him, (which would have saved me time and money) but he still helped me out tremendously when I had problems installing the system myself. He has a wealth of knowledge about this dish stuff and like I said before has been a huge help for me through this process. Anyway, if you are looking for a dish I would recommend checking out Psb's website as your first step.

To everyone that now has a working dish...enjoy the games this weekend I know I will. And to anyone interested in a kegerator, I'll tell you it's a worthwhile investment.

  4. Great minds think alike.

So are you installing it yourself?

Yes, I just received everything on Monday and I'm going to put it up this Saturday. I was hoping to have Psb come and point it whenever he'll be able to have a chance. As for the kegerator, great investment if you drink enough beer. I always have beer on hand and you get 7 3/4 cases in a keg that costs me $65 plus tax for Miller Lite, Bud Light, Michelob Light...etc. When a case is around $15 thats $116.25...it was just simple math that made me purchase the kegerator. :silly:

  5. One explanation for why Parise is a finalist is the criteria for voting seems to fit him perfectly. Look at the criteria and then make your judgement of whom should be a finalist.

    Voting Criteria:

Candidates must exhibit strength of character both on and off the ice.

Candidates must contribute to the integrity of the team and display outstanding skills in all phases of the game.

Consideration should be given to scholastic achievement and sportmanship.

Candidates must comply with all NCAA rules: be full time students in an accredited NCAA or NAIA college or university; and complete 50% or more of the season.

  6. I've got a couple tickets in section 112 row 13. Belfour I think we may be heading to Wild tymes as well, but I won't be bringing any goofer T-shirts to burn. The last time I touched one (to burn it for good luck Sunday night) I had to take a shower afterwards...yuck :D I think the team will knock off Duluth without our help on Thursday, Friday they may need some help however!

  7. (If only we had Belfour Posted on Mar 16 2003, 11:14 PM)

Hey guys I am back, I would be lying if i said I burned the goper shirt for good luck at sensers. I was too busy havign a hear attack watching the game. Wow that was awesome. The good news is I have matches and a gopher sirt left .

Don't worry Belfour, I had you covered I lit a gopher T-shirt up at the start of OT.

Great picture Patrick, I love it! The picture in the article about the win is a good one too.

As for bars if you guys are getting together I'm up for anything.

You can drink at the xcel. Just ask my old man. He drank many $5.00 beers last time we were there.

    I stand corrected ???
