  1. does anyone know if you can pickup this game on the fox sports package w/ digital cable in mpls? I have time warner (they switched to comcast, but nothing has really changed yet) digital cable and have the fox sports package. I know they game will be on fox sports north (wisc) but I'm wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to pick it up. The cable schedule says it's going to be college football on the fox sports channels, so that is my guess. Just wondering if anyone has heard differently?

  2. There is no reason he should not make the team, although the debbies just signed Pascal Rheaume today.  Look at their centers.  Besides Gomez and Parise they have nothing in terms of playmakers.  Nothing.  Brylin and Rasmussen bring nothing to the table.

BTW,  that rangers team you saw  out there last night might be the weakest team in the entire league.  They have nothing.  Even with Jagr and Kaspar in the lineup.  Make it 8 consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs.  LOL!

I was at the game last night and Z Par did play a limited # of shifts. He was not playing his usual center position and as I found out talking w/ JP Parise at the game he has a dinged wrist and can't take a faceoff right now. That being said he was still out there on the PP and pen kill, as well as 5-5. In his limited playing time he really stood out. His deflection of P Martin's pass was right on the money. (a great looking play btw) He was named #1 star of the game again. I would be shocked if he didn't make the club this year.

btw, the condor (barry tallackson) was playing and I'm not trying to be mean here, but really looked out of place out there. He had one scoring chance but still continues to play much smaller than he is. Also in talking w/ JP he told me that Jordan said he feels like he'll be able to pick up this season where he left off last season, which will be a big help to our young defense.

  3. Just don't give me 5 for butt-ending.  ;)

we are sitting in section 232 row C. We will have one loser goph fan with us but 3 other fans for the good guys in green.

  4. Thank you very much for the info, it is much appreciated. I will make calls right now to find out. I had thought there was a good sized contingent of Sioux fans in the Denver area, and was hoping that they got together for most of the games. Especially games against DU and CC.

  5. I am a sioux fan that will be out in Denver for the weekend. I would like to watch the games out there but I noticed on the DU press release that the games are only going to be on the radio. Does anyone know of any bars in the Denver area that will be pulling in the FSSN feed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  6. Iceberg I jumped the gun a little and sent you an email, just ignore it. Thank you for responding. I do have digital cable, and I get the fox sports net package just so I can catch a few extra college hockey games across the country whenever they are on, but that won't do me any good this year.

  7. Time Warner & Comcast in Mpls/St Paul will have them on their digital tiers (unknown on how many games)

What does that mean exactly? I have comcast digital cable in the Brooklyn Park area, will I be able to get the UND games? and where did you find this information? Thank you in advance!

  8. I think you read it wrong, it went

There's no FSN after the UND game, it's after the UM.UMD game.. :glare:

It does look like it will be on radio for those fans that can't make it to the game however.

WCHA to provide complete Live Audio Coverage of 2004 Red Baron WCHA Final Five at wcha.com

The 2004 Red Baron WCHA Final Five will also be broadcast live over the internet for the fourth consecutive season via the league's official web site

  9. "2004 Hardware Inventory:

    In Stock: MacNaughton

    On Order: Broadmoor, NCAA"

    "Huskies Experience

    Tech(nical) Difficulties"

    "Lundy is da bohm"

I think that these three are great, but unfortunately I'll be stuck down here in mpls so hopefully they make it on TV or I won't be able to see them.

  10. What a real chickensh*t to hit a guy from behind. You want to get back at Moore for what happened with Naslund...go toe to toe with him. The worst part of it was when he hit the ice he was out cold, but Bert still kept throwing punches. It was real ugly the way Moore's head hit the ice, I really hope he is okay. I hope that it is possible for Moore to take legal action against Bertuzzi, as he deserves something more than just a 3-5 game suspension by the league.

  11. Here are a couple links to articles about this weekends games.

    Everything is up for grabs

Here is a good quote from the above article about Final Five Tickets.

Tickets for the WCHA Final Five in St. Paul are as hot as league coaches are at times at calls - or lack thereof - made by WCHA referee Don Adam.
    Party time at Engelstad?

    ICH WCHA review

Here's a funny quote about the Bulldogs/Badgers matchup that has to do with the Cup.

In Madison, the series between Wisconsin and Minnesota Duluth will determine second place in the WCHA. (Yes, UMD fans, we know that if the Bulldogs sweep and Michigan Tech wins twice in Grand Forks, UMD would win the MacNaughton Cup outright. If that scenario came to pass, the trophy would likely be handed to the Bulldog captains by James Bond, Happy Gilmore and Andre
  12. 116 Row 14, right on the Red Line aisle.  They always ask if I want to upgrade...but I think those are about as good as you can get!

I decided to upgrade this year to row 3. There are 6 of us that have tickets and we are all Sioux fans. By the way, if there is a place where you (UMDDogz) or any of the other Sioux/Duluth fans are gonna be I think we should coordinate on here. I've been going to the Final Five since I moved down here to go to school, when it was held at the Target Center. I have always enjoyed meeting fans of other schools...at least the ones who are willing to talk hockey and not just shout obscenities at you.
