Dom was in a motorcycle accident a week or two ago (a little reminder here to always wear a helmet and watch out for old ladies who don't see motorcyclists!!) so he was letting the soreness go down before going back into it full-bore. He says he'll be 100% in a week or two

I think Ralph's intentions with the whole matter was preventing the university from changing the logo on their own, as in having the board of regents one night decide to change the name to the UND Fighting Fungi or something... I'm speculating that the Ralph would remain standing and pretty much in total control of the university if the NCAA forced the removal of the logo/mascot and UND exhausted all of the appeals. I cant see REA, inc punishing UND and grand forks for the actions of the NCAA. Ralph should have thought ahead and bought the NCAA a new headquarters or something

I gotta say it was awesome just having pure hockey, and not being reminded every 10 minutes to "eat fresh" and where you can get a snowblower or emergency generator. I loved all the homemade signs...we gotta keep this up next year. And last but not least- Cheers to trunk monkey!! Primate chaperones with 12 gauges rock my world!!

The dorms kick all the students out over the break, so most of them just plain don't have a place to crash.

In case anyone doesn't know, Fight on Sioux is played right before the team comes out on the ice (usually played starting slow and speeding up) or when there have been an few unfortunate events in the game such as few gopher goals. Stand Up and Cheer is played when they come on the ice, at the end of a period or when the Sioux score. It's for you, North Dakota U is barley played at hockey games and is usually only played for tailgaters or during the football pregame show. Maybe we could solve the problem by bumping the beer song from unofficial to official school song
