For what it's worth, Thiessen was on a fly-down to Cornell this past Friday. I guess we're recruiting one of them as an '07 or as insurance against McKee leaving after his junior year. I have no idea where he's headed, but I was pretty sure it was between ND and Cornell, so we ought to hear relatively soon. - Phil

Just to let you guys know, Cornell just got a commitment from Ben Scrivens, an AJHL All-Star and Viking Cup participant. I don't know if this meant you guys already had Thiessen in the bag, or Cornell was keeping options open..in any event, unless there are other parties that nobody knows about, it sounds like you guys probably have your guy locked up.. - A Cornell Fan
