    wow, i heard from a couple friends at the game he just skated around and did NOTHING, just skated, very wierd and strange to watch i guess. interesting to have seen this but the game wasnt on tv last night.

    Thats weird what did he do that he took a year off?

    As much as I've defended Minot that past couple of years on this board, I really can't say anything back to posters with the comments they've made.... :lol:

    I know it doesn't mean much to you all, but I'd say 90 percent of the people that I've talked to that were at the game were absolutely sickened by the incident, and others who saw it on the news felt horrible as well. I think someone summed it up best to me today when they said "Another black eye for Minot hockey..."

    I know I really don't represent Minot hockey, but I am sorry to everyone who has a love for the great game of hockey that something like this happened. I'm a huge supporter of Minot hockey, and I thought incidents like this were a thing of the past.

    I don't know if all of this is 100% true. But the day we played Minot someone was planing on throwing a dead rabbit on the ice. The principle made an announcements saying that person would get in big trouble. So, no one did but one of the players on the team told me that some one but a couple dead rabbits heads in the bus.

    My last comment is the complete lack of emotion in the crowd other than a few yells here and there. Keep in mind I come from a huge Div I football power, so I'm use to the crowd being ROWDY. I'm not sure if there are rules against this in collegiate hockey (I noticed the kill all the music when play begins), but it seems like we need to get the crowd worked up for extended periods of time. Let the team know they are at OUR house and gotta win on OUR ice. People should be banging on the boards, seats, whatever during key time periods. There's plenty of potential... the audience can obviously make noise (the Shout song being played comes to mind).

    Ya, a Sioux crowed be loud :) I think are High School b-ball games are louder when the place is full which is bad saying you can only get a couple hundred in there

    How the heck does minnesota get third place after playing the two weak teams that they have the past two weeks. Is there a internet blocker I can get so I never have to see a poll again! Ill bite my tongue for now...

    I thought you were talking about the wild after seein your pic. :glare:

    Complaining about attendence on Saturday and poor crowd noise this past weekend - where you watching the game??? Didn't see much to cheer about past the first period on Friday and Saturday, about the last ten minutes of the game....... I guess we could cheer everytime Maine scored in the second period Friday and then continued on into Saturday with Maine scoring the 3 goals in 50 minutes and us 0. Or maybe the fact that our team played like midgets on a sugar high.... Anyway enough ranting last years regional game was by far the loudest either the old ralph or the new ralph have ever been! Hands down!

    I'm a season ticket holder and the atmosphere doesn't come close to the old RALPH.Unless it's the Badgers or the Goofers expect the same for other games.

    Ya that what I kinda ment that the atmosphere has been bad.

    Hey, I don't post much here but, I read all the time. I'm from Williston and have gone to sioux games for the last five years and went to the regionals last year. And I thought that it would be a sell out easy since were playin Maine but I saw a lot of empty seats and the student section wasent evan full. The crowd was quiet for most of the game but the sioux play had to do a lot with that. And I know that since Grand Forks is not too big that we won't get a sell out every night but you would think there would be more people then they were. Is attendance a problem or is it not that big of a deal???
