I have never had a problem at the Excel finding very good scalped tickets ... most will run $5-10 over face, depending on the teams playing.
There are usually Goofer fans deparding early in disgust after the Goof's choke in their first game, selling the rest of their tickets at deep discounts.

BC had guys playing high in the Sioux zone and they were way too open the entire game. It was really a strange game to watch. UND was controlling so much of the play and moved the puck so well most of the game. BC just had the puck go to the right place at the right time too many times.
IMO this says it all ... Go BC! (I just can't cheeer for Sobbie Earl)

Has anyone seen any video of the HC OT goal with the HC radio audio dubbed over it?
I'd like to see the 3 on 2 breakaway rush when the goal was scored if not the whole :53 seconds of OT ...

I have seen some things signed with the black sharpies and when washed the color fades to a brown.
I wouldnt recommend washing it.use a Fabric pen ... they still fade but will take a heck of a lot more washing than a Sharpie ... at least on Cotton ... I don't know about on a nylon jersey ...
I've used fabric pens with my kids for school projects you can get them at craft or fabric stores... (I still like the idea of embroidering them to make them truely permanent ...)

I'm not as great of a mom, I will Tivo the game, but I'm not letting the 4th grader come home early. His class has the last hour as a study hall, I wouldn't be surprized if he talks the teacher into letting them watch.
I'm thinkin' Thursday will be a half day at my kid's school ... the principal is a UND alumni!
and I wouldn't be suprised if half the kids are gone from several of the GF schools Thurs. afternoon since there's a bad bug going around that day ..... everyone it affects tends to turn green ...

If anyone did this, I'd be forced to stab them in the throat with a wooden spoon.What pens are perfect, NDH? something other than an over-the-counter Sharpie?
Hence the reasoning behind embroidery and taking a wooden spoon in the neck ...
If I'm gonna have the jersey mounted behind glass ... I'd leave the sig original (preferably with a fabric marker), however if I'm gonna where the thing proudly for years ... I want longevity ... I can't afford to buy a new jersey every time the sig gets too faded ...

The only reason I am not getting mine signed is that I plan to wear it every Friday AM during pick up hockey with a bunch of Gopher fans. Figured that the signatures wouldn't hold up to well if it is being washed. That said, I've never had a signed jersey. Do the signatures hold up when washed??? If so, I may change my mind on this.
Why not have someone embroider over the signature with black or dark Green thread? Granted, it wouldn't be the actual signature, however, it would add some significant longevity to the signature ...

I'd love to see a group of fans in Holy Cross jerseys at a Goofer game in MariUchi arena ... whenever the goofer get scored on ... they could stand play any school fight song on kazoo's and end it with:

I will be picking up my son early from school (I think he has a dentist appnt at 2 pm on Thurs). I think it will be a long dental appnt and I won't be able to get back to work before 5! Darn.
Several dentists have TV's in the patient rooms or reception areas these days ... maybe you'll have to have a few extra procedures done ... especially if the game goes into overtime!

I'm stuck here in Minneapolis/St. Paul at work for the game against BC on Thursday. Does anyone know if a radio station in the cities will be picking up a feed for the games? I'm unable to listen to the internet feed of the game at work.

Sucks to be you ... I spent 10 long years in the Twin Cities ... it's a black hole for Sioux Sports ... unless you can access the internet...
The whole time I lived there, unless the MinnyGoofers were playing, there was no mention of hockey scores or any highlights shown.
My only suggestions:
1. Get a cell phone with free incalling and have a in buddy set his phone next to a radio ...
2. Have someone with internet access play the audio feed and set the telephone reciever (local call) next to it ...

Does anyone know if there will be any WCHA or NCAA season or tourney highlight programs anytime this week leading up to the Frozen Four? I'd hope FSN or ESPN would put something together to try to build some excitement leading up to the games on Thursday.
Even any internet shows leading up to the games... anything ... please ... the next three days are just gonna drag ...
