  1. Is there any chance anyone has a webcast link for the game. i have been looking all over the net for a link but no luck. anybody have more luck than me???

I'm sure there are a lot of people looking for an alternative to the the two homers on the Goofer sports network ... I wish the Sioux Radio feed was a bit better sync'd with the video ;)

  2. I say he's gone ... it's called reverse psychology .. if I say he's gonna stay, I'll be really disapointed if he does go :silly:

Let's hope the Blues want him to get another 2 years of experience under his belt!

  3. "What a ride" is the absolute truth!

It was a great year for me as a fan ... Why do I watch college? So I can thump my chest and say my team is better than your team? NO!

(okay, so maybe a bit) ... It's entertainment and it builts comradery watching and talking about the games, having a couple beverages on a Friday and Saturday evening during those cold prairie winters ... it does give me pride, living in North Dakota, the way the Sioux compete year after year!

Ultimately I know it's just a game (or at least I'm trying to convince myself it is) and in the grand scope of life, there are many more important things, granted I would have preferred to watch the Sioux win it all on Saturday night, however, that's not the way it's gonna be.

The season started with a lot of frustration starting 5-8-1 in conference play. Christmas came and the boys musta been on Santa's "good" list, cuz he had to have given them something that helped them put it all back together.

What a finish to the season it was... Right down to the last 10 seconds last night, the Sioux were "battling back".

God bless the players, coaches and staff for the effort they put forth last night and all year long! And for the character they showed throughout the year ... granted there were a couple bumps along the way, but getting in trouble is a part of life too, and I am proud to be able to watch the games with my kids and discuss life lessons with them: sportsmanship, the joy of winning and losing, dealing with frustration and disappointment and the value of work and not giving up!

What a ride it was ... I'm looking forward to '07-'08!

I just know it's gonna be a long wait til October! :silly:

  4. Two things killed us last night ...

    1. Giving up penalties ..

    2. BC out hustled us

I don't know if getting the first lead then regaining it in the second period made 'em overconfident or what happened there ... but after BC tied it up pthe second time, it was as if the Sioux were playing in mud ... BC was intercepting passes, winning faceoffs beating 'em to almost every puck ... we got frustrated and three PP goals did us in ...

I tip my hat to BC for playing as they did, they beat us fail and square ... We finally picked it up int he last 7 minutes of the game, but we should have been playing that way the whole game.

btw ... Lammy was unbelievable! He's got a good shot at willing the Hodey Baker after that performance!!!

GO GREEN ... GO WHITE ... GO STATE!

  5. What a great poll ... I gotta say it was very difficult to even follow the Sioux when I lived in the Twin Cities, back in the pre-webcast days, and you could never find box scores for any team but the goof's... but that certainly solidified my distain for the golden rodent ...

Ironically, I've gone to school at UND, NDSU and UMinn ... UND was by far the best of times I had in college ...

so it's UND #1, Bison #2 ... and the goofers just plain suck!

  6. when kota ties it after being down by 4 you need to respect everyone if your on the opposing bench

True ... I forgot what middle of the pack in the WCHA means compared to the rest of College Hockey .. :D

  7. You left off one choice ... "Can't make it this year and will live vicariously through those who are going..." ???

Thank God for TV coverage and (hopefully) a bar FULL of Sioux Fans! :D

(Granted all the Frozen Four tix available are unbelievably tempting for a road trip)

  8. Not a knock on Phil as a goaltender, but he looked really uncomfortable out there, until he started making some great saves at the end of the second.

Who wouldn't be nervous after letting in 2 goals in the first minute of each period... ???

third period needs a strong start for the Sioux!
