I'm not saying Southwest is awesome, just not that bad. Yes, they lost big to a few schools, but that was early and without their point guard. They've played well from the scores against St. Cloud, USD, beat Augustana, lost to UMD by 3, etc.

Southwest isn't that bad. They lost to NDSU big early, but lost on a last second shot in Fargo two weeks ago. Also lost in the last minute to St.Cloud and Duluth. Also beat UND last year.
I'm not ripping, just giving some facts. Same that SDSU also beat one D1 this year, and played well against others.

I think their women's basketball team and the wins their football team had proved the move was ok. You can't base on just one sport

I agree. Last weekend, UMD hosted Mankato on Thursday night, then played UMD played at St. Cloud on Saturday.
I'm surprised the NCC coaches and or ADs agreed to this schedule.

UND and NDSU women's BBall coaches. Wow! Ruly doesn't play any D1 opponents and gets pissed when she's get called on the carpet in the Forum. Because she's afraid she'll lose and there is no way an Amy Ruley team should lose.
Then Gene loses a couple games and pouts. I'll be reading the Herald and he better not chat to the media following a win.

What's wrong with watching USD, Southwest Minnesota, Crookston, Mankato, Augie?

I was from that area and have ties to Southwest. The thing is SMSU is a good team. The SMSU program recently won two NSIC title and beat UND in the playoffs in 2002.
UND is good and will win the league

If I'm not mistaken, SMSU vs. Augie and UMD were both close games.
also, Southwest probably had a let down against St. Cloud State.
I don't think you can compare scores. if that was the case then Huron who lost to Northern by four the other day would be UND.

Really? It's not that bad. Southwest Minnesota State is 10-4 and already beat USD at USD. They are pretty good.
UND will be just fine.

Doesn't UND have a couple of transfers from all around the world? I know not as much as Bemidji State, but Myron Allen, Jerome Beasley.
I'm sure BSU would say, "when you have half the budget of UND and only 5-6 full rides, you have to do what you can do. Getting one win was good."

I didn't mean to start a fire storm, but the Sioux should be solid nearly every season in volleyball. Don't lose twice to UMC. Once, that happens, we all know that, but twice?

Who has UND beaten in league play yet? SCSU, no. UNO, not yet, USD, not yet.
What didn't Winona prove last year? they should've won at UND and they beat Emporia STate the week before. STart ripping the MIAA

True, but I don't think UND volleyball should ever been down THIS much with the resources. But your right, there is always going to be bad years. Look at men's basketball. That isn't right either. But we won't start there

I've been meaning to post this and maybe because it's volleyball know one cares. But UND losing twice to Minnesota-Crookston this year? That is simply not acceptable! full rides, facilities, compared to UMC?

why not Winona over UND? I think WSU proved they can play with UND and is just as good. Even with only 14 rides to UND's 36

What will help UND or hurt them I"m not sure how it works, but Southwest Minnesota State is 16-8 and will probably get back into the top 10. Good for strength of schedule I would think
