  1. I think Easy Mac would be a good one to wear a letter as well.
  2. Tickets were sold
  3. I have a pair of tickets available each night. Lower bowl section 111 row m seats 24-25. $70 per pair. Need to sell ASAP. Email adtheisen@yahoo.com with contact information if interested please.
  4. I stand up and clap and cheer for the goal. I cringe when the song comes on, which is generally after a 45 minute review of the goal. Many other songs could be used and I'd be willing to bet damn near everybody would stand up and cheer with that one as well. This is UND not UJT. Time for UND to come up with something of their own. School song would be just fine. UND started using Chelsea Dagger immediately after the Blackhawks became a powerhouse team again. You would think a college hockey powerhouse like UND would/should have something original of their own.
  5. So does the Minnesota Rouser but we don't use that do we? Chelsea Dagger is a straight copy of the blackhawks goal celebration and was chosen after a visit there to watch a former Sioux player. I think Jonathon Toews is great and has been great in the NHL and done a ton for the Blackhawks, but he played 2 years here, he isn't the entire history of UND hockey, and its not the University of Jonathon Toews. Why not push for something original and new that UND can use?
  6. Alright folks, here is my official unofficial petition/stir up post about UND continuing to use Chelsea Dagger after they score goals. To be blunt about it, its cheesy, its the Blackhawks, and I hate it. It's time for UND to start its own tradition. New conference, new goal song. It's hard to pick things that haven't been used already, but with the fanbase and the history of the school I'm sure something could be done. My first pick would be Fallout boys new song "My songs know what you did in the dark (Light em Up)". The chorus is perfectly appropriate for after a goal is scored and it is upbeat and pretty awesome. What are all your thoughts? Are you fine with leeching off of the Blackhawks simply because Toews is their captain now and their recent success? Or is it time to have something of our own?
  7. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/hl-50097978/the_league_fear_boner_season_2/ Not sure which I have for this weekend Fear or Antici
  8. Talk about a #FearBoner for this weekend against UM. Can't wait to get down to the John and watch a rivalry filled weekend.

  9. To be honest, If I we're a Dman of Mac's size, or any physical defenseman at all, I would never come to the WCHA or college hockey. What's the point? Most guys you check you will get called for CTH because they are smaller then you. You will get penalties with clean hits because its too physical. This is exactly what happened to Matt Greene when he was here as well. Good strong physical hockey and absolute bogus penalty calls because a guy gets hit to hard, gets banged up a little bit, or fakes a hit to the head and lays on the ice for 4 minutes, then comes out and scores a PP goal 19 seconds later. Its complete bull. If they are going to take all these delays to call these 5 minute penalties, discuss them for 5 minutes, swear at the players in unprofessional manner, then the least they could do is at least review it to make sure a game changing penalty call is correct.
  10. Looking forward to a fantastic season of Fighting Sioux hockey... or the team formally known as the Fighting Sioux but still to be cherished as the Fighting Sioux. Either way, can't wait for the boys to kick som ass!!!

  11. As I said in my first post, most likely the rookie party being only Captains were suspended. Initiating players to a team happens at all levels of sports and its part of being on a team. It's what bring the players together. When it gets out of control people can get hurt, but I highly doubt that they we're beating each other as what happens with some of these band members down in Florida. Most likely lots of drinking going on with some other sort of shennanigans. Oh well, its just a game for now and hopefully that is all.
  12. But how did they screw up? Was it college kids having a party? We're they throwing objects into the street? That's what I don't get. Having a loud(er) party and police coming and saying "It's too loud just send everyone home" usually doesn't warrant suspensions, where say having 4 contributing and 12 minors or something of the sorts would.
  13. http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/245236/ Is this UND trying to outshine NDSU and say "we take responsibilty for our athletes actions"? Why would captains be suspended when no citations or other tickets were issued. My guess is this was probably the rookie party perhaps and word got out of some of the shennanigans (sp?)
  14. Thank you Ghandi.
  15. The intent of my post was mostly to say "THIS SUCKS, CANT WE CATCH A GOOD BREAK". Just watched Rocco's interview about what the injury is. Unfortunate for the kid. Hope it fully heals for him.
