analytics, analytics!!!!! And a 3pt shot is a smarter and better shot than a mid range open jump shot! Till next year Lets go Hawks!

Facts I wasn't agreeing!
-
If were going to continue to ignore the statistics, the plus/minus of the stats than that's fine.
-
Similar to NDSU at times in the game especially when we struggled shooting 3s in particular we just kept firing away.
-
Not sure how the question relates but they both played the point with Moore playing point most of the time. Smith would run the point when Moore was out. Who ran the point when Minnetonka won state? Andy and Issa My statements all refer to the season ending stats getting back on topic.
-
When Smith is in the game with Ulemen at best slid him over to shooting guard now he's a threat catching and shooting off penetration oppose to still having to expend the same energy looking to score only. Easier shots with a better flow to the game.
-
I would say less minutes due to the fact he has certain limitations offensively and defensively.
-
Would that line up be any different than Ulemen, King, Kraft? Kraft could have been the spark off the bench seeing how he loves to shoot the 3 only and being a questionable defender.
-
106 3s for ulemen, king 129, Anderson 146, and kraft 170, at those percentages I would have to ask myself what type of shots they were taking. Ulemen can create his own shot defending on the type of defense being played. The other 3 guys are better catching and shooting off of kick outs and sets from my observation and I watched every game. There wasn't much chemistry.
-
Perhaps that's problematic as a whole being ball dominant as a point guard seeing how Kraft, King and Anderson are better playing off being set up opposed to trying to create shots late in the shot clock that didn't seem to be any of those guys strength. 22 dribbles before a shot oppose to 22 passes can take rhythm guys out of their comfort zones as we saw quite a bit late in the shot clock. Everyone can adjust or should be able to adjust when different guys are in the line up and play to their strenght in particular times of the game. Where are the assists coming from? Who's getting the offense flowing? We all love scoring but for me at the point guard position you cant have more turnovers than assists playing the bulk of the minutes.

Lets take a look at these stats carefully comparing minutes, Efficiency -Smith Mins 17.7 8.5pts per game. .477fg% highest for all guards free throws 83.8% highest on the team rebs 2.3 3pt% .244 with only 45 attempts, shot 42% coming in from high school. Missing from the stat line are assist and turnovers *key for guards. Facilitates extremely well and gets guys easy shots. Opens the floor! Ulemen had an amazing offensive year! hypothetically speaking smith plays the Pg position and Ulemen plays the shooting guard with that scoring ability what does this back court and team truly look like?
-
exactly!
-
Well said I couldn't agree with you more! If we're going to scrabble around trapping lets try scrambling around in a zone especially if the team is red hot! 16/29 57.1% from 3

In the last 2 games combined we are shooting 20 for 65 from the 3pt line alone

I would assume they're basketball fans as we all are here. Judging by the forum there is a lot of bad mouthing coaches and players without much talk about the actual games statistics etc. So they cant speak about basketball like we do as fans? I hear a lot of sather bashing from our fans during the game. I agree let the coaches coach but unless its confrontation and things the coaches can hear what's the problem? Again I sat by them and talked to them for along time. Very knowledgeable about basketball.

I met his parents they were very respectful people has anyone else? Why are we talking about kids parents in a basketball forum?
