  2. My dark horse pick on the roster is Brent Davidson. Remember he was voted UND's most improved player last year. I think he is going to be a Dustin Penner type. Unrecruited and didn't play much the first year. Look for Davidson is front of the net this year banging in some rebounds.

  3. Maybe it won't hurt the Sioux to get out of their comfy confines and get back to some old school hockey. There is nothing wrong with Purpur or Gambucci. Maybe bring the guys back down to earth alittle bit. IMO

  4. If anyone recorded the game they should look at the one shift the Oshie played in the 2nd period. After he shot the puck and the SCSU goalie covered it up he turned behind the net. When he was turning he did not put any weight on his inside leg (right). His foot was actually barely touching the ice. I know it is speculation but it appeared like he had issues with that leg/ankle. Did anyone else notice this?

On a positive note I do not think they would have let him try to go if the injury was too serious.

I thought I noticed the same thing. Right after that Hak said something to Poolman and Oshie left for the rest of the game. I agree that if they thought it was something serious he probably wouldn't have came back out. Hopefully they were just being carefull as we have more important games than the one played tonight.

  5. Here is my final five question.... If UND and CC are tied as of the end of the regualr season. Who get first place? I know the first tie breaker is head to head of which their tied 1-1. Is it win percentage, total head to head goals, non confrence win percentage?

    Thanks Esox

According to Brad's Blog I don't think we will own the tie breaker with CC. Unless we really light up St. Cloud.

  7. Wow 15 unbeaten, that's amazing... Well done sioux... Can't comment on the weekends games after not seeing any but very happy the sioux got the sweep (even if I didn't get to see it).

Is it just me or does anybody feel a little uneasy about going into march with such a long unbeaten streak??? I would like to see 1 loss to get it out of the way before playoff hockey starts...

I'd like to win 10 more in a row!
