That Bair kid must have had 20 shots himself. Everytime he got the puck he shot, and from everywhere. Defensivly he was kind of weak. But other than Bair that team wasnt very good West Fargo outshot them 52-25 or so. Any word on the RR/Minot game yet?

Get out the broom in minneapolis!

I miss the old banners -- I liked that they weren't necessarily "uniform";
I miss the "drop the puck guy" -- that's what he'd yell when there wasn't anything else to yell -- at the new arena he was in the section above us and I couldn't hear him anymore, and this past year he passed away.
Kind of off base but has anyone heard the "move your feet stafford guy?"

I am not sure if any of the games will be canceled tomorrow or not. Mandan is surpising some teams this year. West Fargo out played Grafton thursday and outshot them but lost 5-2 if i can recall. Weisgarber is better than Campbell but that Campbell is one hell of a player.

Cedar Rapids is playin Green Bay with sioux recruit Brad Miller on it.

They could be recruiting someone they are playing.

Marto is not that good of a player. I wouldn't even put him in the top 30 that have played high school hockey in North Dakota.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Marto is a still a very good player. He has very good skills but is a little small for d-1. Ive noticed the same as Jloos about the youth teams in fargo. A few years ago there were 3 patriot teams 2 west fargo teams 2 south fargo teams and 1 north team in the b ranks. it has decreased some.
-
Jloos is right, as of now WI should be in before ND but there are a few teams ND should be ahead of right now. Ex) some teams in other leagues than WCHA

So did anyone go to the Moorhead game? How did Oshie look?

Why Air Force? Why not play a year in the USHL and try for a better team. He is a very good talent you would think he would try for a better team, not to say its not good to play for Air Force.

who is Fast?

If they could have stayed out of the box they could have put some pressure on the last 5 min. Phil looked really good. He should start tomorrow night if they want to stay close again hes got the hot hand.

It isnt always the coaches fault that some of the players are not finishing and working all the time. Sometimes its the players and sometimes its the coach. Both will need to pick it up to get the the frozen four.

North will be a good team IMO.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
North isnt that good. They got worked for 2 out of 3 periods by west fargo which that game ended in ot. And jamestown played a pretty much back and forth game with north.

I guess I'm back guys, haha. I think Hakstol's first year as head coach at UND cannot be considered anything but a disappointment. Losses at home against Mankato and Anchorage in the same year are just unacceptable in my point of view. I still believe he is a strong recruiter, but if we don't start winning the games we should win and some of the ones we shouldn't that pool of talent we get could've just got peed in. In a completely unrelated topic I've received many messages wondering about my whereabouts. During the world junior tournament after the US-Switzerland game, apparantly I'd had a couple more than I should have. All I remember is some fruitcake in a Suisse jersey and a cowboy hat yelling at me and my Betsy in my buddy's suite. Then apparantly outside of the arena I slipped on some ice and suffered a concussion and broke my left hip. I'm still on crutches now but I have returned to my home in Ann Arbor and a good recovery is expected to be made. I'd like to extend a sincere thank you to those who worried while i was gone.

I was sitting behind that guy in a Suisse jersey. He kept doin some wierd hand motions. It made for some funny camera phone pics. We ended up showin them to him
