What the hell is the deal? Can't get my satellite to work again....and UND Insider was going fine until they dropped the damn puck!! anybody else lose the internet feed?
-
Yeah, I guess I'll have to get Pete to hook me up with an upgrade...Sounds like a good spring or summer project...

It's actually the original 30 inch dish I bought online from Sioux Shop in 2003. I've got a one year old LNB. Perhaps it is time to test the HOA with a bit bigger dish....

Thanks for the info guys. Kinda frustrated I get the other channels (RIT game) and some baseball, but not a hint of life on the blind scan or manual program scan for the FSSN frequency...Happily the UND Insider is a very good back up, but just not on my 60 inch screen! Go Sioux!
-
Could someone confirm the frequency tonight please. I never know if I'm the right bird. BUT, I'm getting RIT v. Army at 12188 V 6111.

I gave up on satellite and plinked down the 4 months FightingSioux Insider subscription ($30). I've got the FSSN feed, just not crystal clear on my 60 inch like satellite would be....
-
Im not getting it....only think my blind scan finds is a channel WPLG DLPU at 11970 V 3979.....

I'll check those out, but always like to do business with fellow forum fans here. Hopefully some come available as the game gets closer. -

Still looking, especially for Saturday game... -
I get to the Ralph every 1 or 2 years and will be bringing my 10 year old son to his first games at the Ralph Nov 5 - 6th. If you can't use your tickets please get in touch with me and I'll pay you for the tix (of course). I'm looking for lower section. Thanks! ohiosiouxfan@aol.com is my email.

is that channel labeled TXCN_AC3?
-
Nahh, the game thread has some chatter about the signal quality bad too. I'd hate to believe I have any bad karma, so I'll chalk it off to weather or weak ralph signal....LOL
-
Yeah, I reset my receiver and did a new blind scan. I got Azteca 7 and 13, LETN...No FSSN...I'm hoping it's just weather or weak signal, as I appear to be on the right bird....
-
I just plain haven't been able to get it on my system in Ohio tonight.. Some years the feed has been spotty, especially at the beginning of the year for me. Last year was perfect all year long. I've got a cloudy gray night here, so I don't know if that has any thing to do with it. Just to be clear, we are supposed to be using the 12065 - 4880 (Vert) coordinates?
-
uggh! let's do this!

Cyber hug.... I'm glad to see the Sioux have 3 goals at the end of 2nd. Old time Sioux hockey involves winning games with 4-6 goals in a game. I get nervous in a low scoring game. (Last year's GLI comes to mind).

You must be reading way more into my post than you should... Denver was fun and i enjoyed it too. I wasn't trying to say I drove farther than anybody. I thought I was responding to a comment about finding a different tourney....

Notre Dame does have a Game Tracker on its site, UND.com http://www.und.com/gametracker/launch/gt_m...artschool=&
-
Slow ice, dead boards...no they don't play a lot of hockey there.....
-
Now we're talking!
-
It's free to start account for audio only, and that's all that's available tonight.....

It's before game time, so let me post these observations: Totally agree we should find another tournament for a number of reasons....I drove five hours to watch yesterday's game, and it was great to see the Sioux live, but a couple of observations: First, the games were poorly attended. As I made my way to our seats yesterday I found a Notre Dame fan sitting in our seats (14th row center ice) and noted as such. His reply: "I attend this tournament every year, and there's hardly anybody here, so we just scatter about when the game starts." I suggested he scatter out of our seats, to his annoyance. Second, the Sears Centre had a few quirks: No center ice scoreboard. One end of the ice has no seating and has a huge black background which must annoy the goaltenders. The glass on the boards is FULL HEIGHT all the way around the ice!? So, at center ice, 14th row, we were still watching the faceoff through the glass. Also, I'm not sure if the arena is used to hosting hockey, as they played no music or announcements during breaks in play most of the first period and then only sporadically. When they did break out the music, they played, I kid you not, "All the Single Ladies" by Beyonce.... Lastly, I knew there was bad karma when the lady at the Notre Dame-run tournament t-shirt and keepsake stand looked at my coat and started in on "how could North Dakota be using a stacked "ND" since Notre Dame owns it". She then concluded that it must be a newer development, and it was sad that Notre Dame had sold off the license for it.... My response: "sorry, I don't see anything I want." (Indeed this was true, as they didn't even have any of the guest team logos on any of the tournament memorobilia with the exception of the one-page team line-up poster/sheet [hey, I forgave them for not listing Frattin as it was understandable]....)

Flippin Tie, but happy to have it after watching that last few minutes.......

Toledo area.. Man the Sioux need to get crisp again! They playing their worst all weekend. Tired? Can't be...

Agreed! Heart Attack City!
