Zach Parise of course, same as last year, and the year before.....As for the Sioux, I'll pick Brian Lee, just because no one else has picked him yet (wonder why?), and I was a huge Canady fan, and Brian wears Canady's number now! In reality, I don't think I have any one favorite this year.

Johnny definitely played better last night than what we seen in the majority of fall 2006. Hopefully last night is just a prelude of what's to come from him. As for Oshie, you start to feel for a guy who brings it every night, every shift, and continually gets nothing to go. I swear the kid has pissed someone off who has definitely laid a jinx on his a$$.

Chico loves Zach as much as any Sioux fan I've ever met. I love listening to him during games as he always seems to mention ZPar and Zajac, as well as their connection to Sioux hockey.

If he isn't doing it, Toews needs to wear a maple leaf t-shirt under his jersey, as Johnny plays great when he's playing for his country. Therefore, he just needs to convince himself every night that he's playing for Team Canada with a Sioux Jersey on!

It would be a crime if Blaker wasn't on the All Star team with the season he's having.

I don't agree that it was a bush league hit. Coburn is a rookie whose only played in 26 games so far this year. He's a guy who's trying to make it in the NHL. He made a bad choice. The reason it was so bad was because Zach was off balance. I didn't like it either when it first happened, but if you continued to watch the game, in the next period, Mike Rupp challenged him to a fight because of that hit. He could have skated away, but to earn the respect of his teammates and fellow NHLers, he knew he had to throw the gloves. The kid went down on the first hit to the jaw, and had two more hits to the jaw following that, knocking him out of the game for the night. Have to respect Coburn for knowing that he made a mistake on the hit to Parise, and following it up with going head to head with a more experienced fighter in the NHL. Not bush league though, inexperience.
