I don't agree that it was a bush league hit. Coburn is a rookie whose only played in 26 games so far this year. He's a guy who's trying to make it in the NHL. He made a bad choice. The reason it was so bad was because Zach was off balance. I didn't like it either when it first happened, but if you continued to watch the game, in the next period, Mike Rupp challenged him to a fight because of that hit. He could have skated away, but to earn the respect of his teammates and fellow NHLers, he knew he had to throw the gloves. The kid went down on the first hit to the jaw, and had two more hits to the jaw following that, knocking him out of the game for the night. Have to respect Coburn for knowing that he made a mistake on the hit to Parise, and following it up with going head to head with a more experienced fighter in the NHL. Not bush league though, inexperience.
