Yep. Checking from behind results in done for the game. Came about after the Bina hit. Not sure if it was because of the hit on Robbie, but it came about the following season.

Hak mad as can be. It's hard to argue. I hate it when the player stops and spins, which results in the checking from behind, but it was a check from behind.

I'm not denying that, but I don't remember this group of posters making those comments. I do remember specific posters though who made those comments.

Alright. Just about ready to go. Hennessey said that if it ends in a tie tonight, after OT, there will be a shootout. Each team would get one point, but they want a winner in the game. Let's score early and often boys!!!! GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!

Parise and Zajac each with an assist in tonight's Devils/Thrashers game. Zajac adds a goal and another assist to go with his first assist.

Hak Pre-game comments: Little bit of difference in styles, not only in teams, but maybe in the two leagues. Michigan St. did a great job in the last few months of last season. They have guys who can score though. They play a conservative style in the neutral zone. We just have to make good decision and try to make plays. Need to cycle down low in the zone. I hope we're ready to play. Game 1 of the year. Bound to be excitement, maybe even some nerves. We need everyone to play well. Lerg and Phil are similar goalies. It will be an interesting goaltender match-up. Need to get pucks and bodies to the net in order to be successful. Teams in our league play a defensive style too. When we have numbers and speed, I think we can make plays in the neutral zone. We're healthy. As a whole, everyone on the roster is healthy.

That's Michigan State's style. Hopefully, we don't get sucked into their style of play, and just play our own game.

It's been that way the last few games. Sutter messing with the lines still. Other than the last game, Parise has clicked on whatever line they put him on. Personally, when Langebrunner comes back, they need to put the ZZPop line back together.

Wasn't at the game, but watched in on Sioux Xtra. Can't agree that it was bad reffing. There were a few times, but overall, I thought the refs did fairly well. As Triouxper said, the two 4th and 1's that weren't converted made the difference, that and the overthrown pass to Dressler in the first half. But I would have been mad had the Sioux not gone for them on 4th and 1. Oh well, all a part of the game.

Yeah, I don't know how much I've ever looked forward to them!

I'd suck at football. Now hockey.....nah, I'd be too much of a homer and freak out every time the Sioux scored!
