Zajac with a cheap goal (2nd of the night) with Parise assisting. Goal shouldn't have been allowed IMO, but not due to Travis or ZPar, but rather Gionta. Pretty amusing except for Pittsburgh fans.

Ah, I didn't read your original post close enough, on him having an assist on the GWG. I was watching the game and saw the GWG, but didn't realize ZPar had an assist on that, to make it 2 assists for the evening. Sorry about that. He is at 100.

I thought he needed one more. According to HockeyDB, he's only at 99.

Hak Post Game Comments: We got better as the game went on. We ended up in the 3rd with a little more energy than they did, and that had something to do with the score. I thought we got a little bit better in smaller areas as the game went along. Overall, it's a good win. They play a tight defensive game, and quite hard. It wasn't a 6-0 game. They play hard. Phil did a good job. He did what we expect out of him. Oshie's departure tests our mental strength of what we have in the locker room. Our guys didn't miss a beat. Only being able to role 3 lines hurts, but mentally, I like the way the guys reacted. They killed off the penalty and kept plugging. We still have a ways to go. We didn't think we took good care of the puck in the 2nd, so we wanted to do better in the 3rd, and I thought we did that in the 3rd.

Sure don't miss those days!
