'On X when you click on a player's profile, it tells you how many people who you also follow, follow this person. It could be UND coaches, media, fan accounts, other players that have been offered. I do think there's a correlation with the large the #, the more interest. On the flip side, there are guys who have been offered that have a very low number. I think you could effectively cross those guys off as viable targets. Also, if there's a commitment, look for a spike and that's the guy. Here's the current Top 12.'

Michael Farr (Racine, WI): Eastern Michigan, Lindenwood, UND, Central Michigan, NDSU, Army, SDSU, Air Force
Godson Rufus-Okomhanru (Shoreview, MN): NDSU, Kent State, UNI, Army, UND, Murray State, Air Force
Jayden Brown (West Des Moines, IA): NDSU, UND, SDSU, USD, WIU
Braylon Hodge (Denver, CO): UND, Utah State, San Diego State, UNLV, Colorado State, San Jose State, Sac State, Utah, Iowa
Isaiah Oliver (Waukee, IA): USD, NDSU, UNI, SDSU, UND
Brayden Dozier (Maple Grove, MN): NDSU, UND, SDSU, Fordham, Army, Murray State, Air Force, Buffalo, Colorado Sate, UNI
Deron Russell (Minneapolis, MN): SDSU, NIU, UND, NDSU, Colorado State, USD, Fordham, Washington State, Montana State
Maxwell Lovett (Greewood Village, CO): USD, UND, Wyoming. Louisiana Tech, New Mexico, Colorado State, Portland State, Hawaii, UConn
Pierce Petersohn (Dodge Center, MN): UND, Minnesota, NDSU, Northwestern, Iowa, Kansas State, Duke, Penn State
Noah Dietel (Litchfield, MN): UND, UNI, SDSU
Bryson Williams (Omaha, NE): 10+ D1 Offers
Matthew Perusse (Maple Grove, MN): Air Force, Army, UND, Navy, Fordham

Under the "formula" did Maxwell Lovett spike?    I appreciate you doing these posts. I'm definitely enjoying them.

What positions are walker and Lewis? And is walker from San Diego?

Both DB's.  And yes, looks like he sat out this year in order to transfer. Must of still had a good relationship with Schmidt which is nice to see.

  3. There are HC's that call the plays on one side of the ball, but does this mean there won't even be a DC position? Wonder if that would spread out some salary across the assistants to increase their pay?

  4. I think what I dislike the most about Danny leaving now is we are sitting here looking for a new OC when I'd rather be looking for a new DC or even HC.  None of the OC's mentioned excite me at all, but if the defense doesn't get fixed it won't matter much.

  5. Watched the signing day special and the Kaminsky interview really got me excited. Can't wait to get this kid here. Definitely nothing against Feeney, still hopeful on him, but the better the competition the better the starter will be. Hope these two will be pushing each other daily.

UND failed to control what was its to control.

Win that game, more than likely get the 7 or 8 seed and a bye and make NDSU play an opening round game (and likely go on the road in the round of 16).

There was a lot of talk UND could get a seed if we win that game, but honestly I just don't see it.  We were ranked way too low to start the week, 2nd to last team in, we never get any respect (mainly our fault because we always blow it whenever voters start to buy in), Weber would've probably been the seed if SU dropped out. Unless we absolutely spanked them, which wasn't gonna happen.

I have no issue with anything other than the beginning is too drawn out. Maybe just getting too old but I don’t like screaming into the microphone.

I understand what ira is saying. The announcer starts it with like 30 seconds on the play clock even when the offense is still in the huddle and he ends up running out of breath/steam by the time they are even thinking of hiking the ball.  I usually am standing, but don't start making noise until their offense is getting close to snapping. Maybe he can say something right away, then start in later on something

    3 biggest ones:

Size and physicality problem is known and being addressed

D line and Corners will be addressed

They will not be going away from the 3-4. I know some of you that may not like that.

I'd argue Safety is a bigger concern than CB.  Ocansey got better as season went on, and Siegel was fairly solid.  ILB play wasn't very good down the stretch either, but then again White and Pedigo were out, and it didn't seem like Krzanowski was playing 100% to me.  Whenever I noticed Kelley out there seemed like he made good reads, just wasn't fast enough to get there.  We had our moments, but I wish years like this (make playoffs, one and one) were our worst seasons, not our best.

  9. Couldn't someone choose to walk (or I guess not walk) and change their mind later?  If it was me and I was 50/50 on coming back, I'd walk just in case I chose not to come back.  Not saying there will be any changes, but just a comment.  Let's take care of business on Saturday.

  10. I wonder if the lack of skill players so far is an indicator that the staff feels these are the type of guys more readily available in the transfer portal, i.e. hoosman and red.  Or they just haven't found the right fit yet or their targets just haven't committed or committed elsewhere. Guess we'll wait and see.

  11. Is it just me or has the concession/bathroom lines gotten ridiculous on the east side? I don't feel like it was this bad in years past and I think attendance is similar. Is there any difference in the west(student) side from previous years? Used to watch from catwalk so maybe I was always able to beat the crowd.

  12. Sooner or later we will fix our road woes.  If we want to be taken seriously we have to be close to a .500 team on the road.  Let's hope Saturday is a step in the right direction.  Cautiously optimistic.  Hopefully DB's keep learning and someone steps up.  I've never been a huge Tommy guy, just think he's solid but not quite enough, but it's because of people like me that Tommy maybe plays with a chip on his shoulder, so lets keep doubting him!! :)  He's played really well so far this year, hopefully he keeps it up. Love seeing him tuck and run when things break down more.

How do you buy those stubs (under the current bad config) anyway?

Exactly this.....I'm a season ticket holder, but I'd be interested in at least knowing the full details. Below is from a January email, but it was called the peterson porch then. At the game Saturday I only noticed BWW signs by the seats and the fact basically no one was sitting there.  $1600 minimum for 2 seats? Absolute huge overreach.  like WTF.  $800 on the catwalk or $110 regular season tickets? I get what they are trying to do, increase revenue, but still, to try and get over 7X in the very first year is ridiculous, especially when we aren't even close to selling out. And season ticket only??? how about if you don't fill them, which they obviously didn't, to offer them for a single game.  I'd bet they could get in the $75-100 range per seat for the right game.

    "The Peterson Porch seating provides:

    • A unique view of the field
    • Counter height stool with a back
    • Drink rail for your food and beverage

There are only 40 seats available for the 2022 season and they are $800 apiece for the season. Fan are eligible to purchase sets of 2 or 4 seats and all sales will be determined by the North Dakota Champions Club Priority Point System. All seats are sold as season tickets only."

  14. This conversation makes me think of the chicken and egg. Do higher salaries get better coaches or do better coaches get higher salaries? Everyone here wants us to have competitive salaries, but just because you pay people more doesn't mean you'll necessarily get better results.

  15. It's good to see the alerus center/UND trying new things, but I feel like they really missed the mark on it by overpricing it, especially for the first year.  We only seem to get 5 home games a year, so you're paying $160 per seat per game. I enjoy the end zone view, but it's not that much better that I'm willing to pay 6-7 times more than my other seats.  Not to mention I personally don't even like most high top seating so I'd end up wanting to stand anyway.

You just have to laugh. One of those you actually had to see it to believe it.

Not to mention the INT he threw the previous drive.... nothing wrong with staying alive for the next play until it's 4th down.
