He needs to empty the chocolate milk fridge after every workout. At least 6 if not 8 milks every workout. 5 large meals a day. Extra lifts in his spare time. When Rattelle came in he was 230 and didn’t look like he had room for another ounce of muscle. He left UND at about 255. And he got faster. Rastas and a bunch of his teammates need to commit to that lifestyle, it sucks but it’s worth it.

Looking at the Defensive stats it appears that other than Tank, Bennett and Wilson as sophomores are getting something done. Bennett with 5.5 tackles for loss, Wilson with 2, each with sacks.  Whats wrong with Juniors and Seniors.  Bennett and Wilson have limited reps each game with maybe 20 plays at times and are still making the plays.  Why not let the guys making the plays get the majority of reps?  Is this still the philosophy of a Senior has earned his time??? If so things may not get any better any time soon. Best man should be in the game.

The conference gives a trophy for the University to have, correct?

The University coordinates getting the players the rings.  I'd think that what is not setting right is that students in three other conference winning

sports at UND received rings and football players did not.  "If everyone can't afford them then nobody should get them" . . . their words, right?

The university should still make this happen somehow.  Even if it's a year later.  Those guys that graduated last year deserve it.

I'd assume that the upper crust at the University would agree . . . they just need to find a way to make it happen.

Where is the money from that "athletic department garage sale" going?

Agree 100%, all members of all winning teams or no teams! It has to be an even playing field for all. The perception of this not only appears bad to the players but what about recruits coming in and future recruiting prospects? It may seem irrelevant to some who have posted here to say its the wrong reason to play the game if its just for a ring, but these young men when getting recruited have all the Bling of the equipment, free gear, etc dangled in front of them to entice them.  Would the fact that winning your conference and receiving recognition by means of a Ring not also go a long way when competing against other schools?

  3. I know it is late but these guys deserve it! There must be some money available somewhere? I mean we could have done without new painted helmets for a year for starters. It may not be a natty but to some who are finished now it was the pinnacle of their college career.
